Hard/Soft Bounce codes and the effect a high bounce rate has

Hi there,

My company is currently migrating to Zoho (using CRM+ to integrate CRM with Campaigns) and I wondered if you could answer 2 questions for me?

  1. We're moving our list of current hard and soft bounces from our current email marketing platform to CRM and wondered if, when importing thois data, there is a 'bounce code matching' we can do? For example, one code offered on our current system is 5.1.2, does Zoho use the same codes when mapping bounces that we can match up when importing this info?
  2. If we import our bounce list and send an email to them, and the bounce rate comes back very high (likely), will this effect our ability to send emails in the future - will it, basically, cause our from address to be seen as spammy by a higher amount of recipients and restrict our bounce rate in the future?
