How a signup-based autoresponder will work with CRM Sync contacts

Hi Zoho,

I just tried to find answers for couple of questions in my mind but didn't get it on Guide and Forums so posting a new topic here.

Scenario:
I have synched "All Open Leads" of my Zoho CRM with Zoho Campaign Mailing list on "Daily basis". Now I have created a new Sign-up Based Auto responder with an option to "include contacts via import or sync" and want to send 5 emails to my mailing list with 2 days gap (a 10 day process).

Questions:
Q1. Will the auto-responder send email to the contacts added in the mailing list before the auto-responder is actually created/configured ?

Q2. Since the mailing list will continuously increase on daily basis. I'm expecting the auto-responder will automatically select the newly added contacts for the first email and continue the process of sending follow-up emails for previously added contacts as it is like below
1/08/2013: John Added to "My List" -> 1st Email sent to John
3/08/2013: Jack Added to "My List"-> 1st Email sent to Jack, 2nd Follow-up email sent to John
*Mailing List: "My List"
Is that correct ?
