How to convert word.doc 2003 to excel.xls 2003 .csv ????

How to convert word.doc 2003 to excel.xls 2003 .csv ???? So how to take a list of comma seperated email addresses in a word.doc 2003 and convert them into a format that can then be cut and pasted into an excel.xls 2003 document , and how to use the excel commans 'tanspose' and 'trim' along the way... without using a macro... ie manually...because I cant find it anywhere on the google search anymore- its all outdated or short cuts etc
