We are back again with another tip for this week. Over the next few weeks, we'll be looking into multiple methods of bulk deployment of the Unattended access agent. Let's check out the first bulk deployment method.
Microsoft Intune is used for centralized management of mobile devices, applications, and data security within organizations. If your organization is already utilizing Intune, you can deploy the Zoho Assist unattended agent across multiple devices.
With Intune, administrators can efficiently deploy and manage applications across various platforms, ensuring the availability of unattended access features wherever required. Here's a step-by-step guide to help you get started:
Generate Intunewin package: Utilize IntuneWinAppUtil.exe to create an Intunewin package from the extracted files. For more information on IntuneWinAppUtil, refer to the GitHub repository.
Create Intune policy: Within the Intune console, establish a policy for installing the unattended agent. Ensure to include the necessary command line for installation within the policy.
Upload package to Intune: Upload your generated package to Intune and specify the target devices requiring the unattended agent installation. Apply the policy accordingly.
Restart devices: After applying the policy, restart the designated devices to initiate the installation process.
Complete installation: The unattended agent will now be successfully installed on the targeted devices.
