How to integrate your Email with Zoho CRM

Hello Everyone,

In this post, let us see how to integrate your Email with Zoho CRM.

Your business needs the ability to communicate and track Email conversations with your customers. You also want the ability to reply instantly to emails, add follow-ups, share emails and more importantly, avoid the hassle of searching for emails.

Using the Email integration feature, we could do just that. Zoho CRM automatically associates all emails with the customer records, so you will never have to comb through messages to send your next round of follow-ups.

The following Email systems that are widely used are integrated by default

To set up the Email integration click on the wrench icon and select "Email" under Channels as highlighted in the image below and follow the on-screen instructions

You'll find the option to get started with setting up the integration.

Select your email service provider. If you are using any other Email platform that's not listed here,  select the "Other Mail" option.

Choose IMAP or POP3 for your Email configuration. To find out more about the difference and benefits of both these settings, refer this Link

Once you select the Email service provider, you would receive a pop-up to sign in with your email service provider to authorize the Email integration with Zoho CRM.

The Email server settings are automatically filled in if you had selected any of the default Email providers such as Gmail or Yahoo. If the email service is other than the default onces, fill in the incoming and outgoing server details provided you by your Email service provider.

In Zoho CRM, a user's emails can be shared with other users in the organization's CRM account. You can choose to share all the emails, share only the emails from selected customers, or keep your emails private as shown in the below image.

We hope many of you would find this post handy to configure your Email with Zoho CRM.  To help your peers, share details on the actions you set up as comments to this post. I will come back with more soon!
