I have attempted to set up the Smart URL feature, but have been warned by my hosting provider (https://wpxhosting.com/) not to do it as it could cause problems on my site.

I originally tried setting it up in March and shied away for the same reason.

So I now ask the MH support team and users.

Can I set this up without losing my current hosting provider which keeps my site super fast?

How do I set this up without breaking, losing or having anything go wrong on my siite?

What and why do I want the smart URLs for? There are other link shortening providers. What will this actually do for me? What is the use case? The instructions really don't make it clear.
