HTML mailer not rendering correctly within Gmail app on smartphones and tablets

Hello,

The HTML mail renders fine in the browser on PCs as well as on smartphones and tablets, but doesn't seem to render correctly within the Gmail app on smartphones and tablets. I haven't check other mail apps.

Today, most people check mail on the apps in their devices. So it would be good to be able to ensure the HTML mails render correctly.

Is there something I can do to address this?
