I understand that Zoho provides permission-based marketing via Zoho Campaigns. In practice that means, every time a contact registers via a signup form a double opt-in message is sent out to the contact.

This basically works when collecting newsletter registrations. However, this may not be GDPR compliant when using the signup form feature for implementing whitepaper downloads (contact has to provide email address to receive a whitepaper): AFAIK it is not allowed to trigger the collection of a marketing permission when a contact registers for a whitepaper. It is possible to do so but the marketing permission has to be optional.

Is it possible to have a optional checkbox in a signup form which only triggers the double opt-in when checked?
