Invite External Users to Zoho Projects Without a Full Zoho One License

Dear Zoho Projects Team,

I hope you're doing well.


We would like to request a feature that allows external users (such as freelancer developers) to be added to Zoho Projects with a more flexible access model—similar to what is available in Jira.


Currently, in Zoho One, every user needs a full Zoho One license to access Zoho Projects, which makes it difficult to collaborate with external users without incurring high costs.

In Jira, external users can be invited to specific projects with limited access, and the billing is based on the number of users. A similar approach in Zoho Projects would greatly improve usability for teams working with freelancers or contractors.


Specifically, we propose and request to add the ability to invite external users to Zoho Projects without requiring a full Zoho One license. Maybe something similar to external users in zoho cliq.
