Is it not possible to edit a calendar entry on iOS?

Is it not possible to edit a calendar entry on iOS?

I've managed to sync my Zoho calendar to my iPhone and iMac but when I create an event on either device the alert is removed automatically and also I am not able to edit existing alerts on those devices e.g. make them longer or shorter. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Thank you.
