The question is from a perspective where specific candidates need to be locked once they have been shortlisted for a specific demand. This option is not to lock the candidate but more to make him/her exclusive to this position so that no parallel processing happens. In general, the ability to process together works great. But for specific mandates, the candidate has to be properly aligned to ensure the priority. 

Please do let know if there is any mechanism to do this on candidate level.
