Log campaign activity against a Contact or Lead Record

I simply want to be able to look at a record in Contacts or a record in Leads and see if and when they were sent an email from a specific campaign through Zoho Campaigns. I've set up the syncs and was amazed to learn that nothing gets logged! In setting up the syncs, I see no options to include a campaign title and date (which I would think would be a inherently included). I would also anticipate that there would be other cursory response data - did they open? did they click? I would then think one should be able to click on the campaign title (a link) and be taken to the campaign in Zoho Campaigns.

I'm stumped - can you tell me what I'm missing?
