Moving a lead from one list to another with a field change in Zoho CRM

I have been trying to figure out how to move a lead from one list to another using a field change as a trigger in Zoho CRM.
I have been using workflows for this and have found that the workflow will not be triggered when changing an existing field that has already been synced to campaigns. I did however find that the workflow will trigger if a new field is synced to the campaign, Am I correct here?
