New Toolbar in Zoho Sheet

We have revamped our toolbar design in this new version of Zoho Sheet. Below are some screenshots to help you get accustomed to this new interface.  Click on the picture below to view the animated image in its original size. Scroll down this post to learn about the changes.



Highlight of Changes:
  1. The previous format tab is now split into 2 tabs - Home and Format. The Home tab contains the commonly used functions and the Format tab holds formatting related options.


  2. Under the Home tab towards the far right, you can find new toolbar icons for commonly used actions like Sort, Filter, Auto Sum and Insert/Delete Rows and Columns. 
    Note: Sort and Filter are still available in the Data tab as well. Same goes for Auto Sum in the Formula tab and Insert row/column in the Insert tab.



  3. The Paste icon now has an additional drop down menu for Paste Special, which was previously available only on the right click context menu.


  4. The Format Painter and Clear Format icon has now moved next to the Paste icon. Clear Format has additional options to clear the formats, content, hyperlink and all of these.


  5. The Format tab has icons related to the Formatting of cells. Date formats, Number formats, Currency formats, Format Cells and Conditional Formatting find a place in this tab. 


  6. In this version of our "MenuTab", the menus are now not shown for the active tab. They will however appear on the inactive tabs upon hovering your mouse over the tabs.
