Newsletter Templates

Hello I am trying to design a newsletter template that has a smaller left side column in comparison to the right side. I was wondering if anyone had some tips for this because I noticed by using the Zoho templates there is not much customization. The two columns have to match side by side and they cannot stagger, which makes the newsletter look a little out of place. So I was wondering if anyone had suggestions on how to design a good newsletter through Zoho.
