posting messages

None of my messages seem to be making it to the boards. In addition, they don't show up in the 'My Posts & Drafts' category, even if I click on the 'Save As Draft' button.

Does the publish button cause the draft to go away?

I did finally notice that my message was waiting on moderation, so I'm hoping it will show up on the boards and in the 'My Posts & Drafts' section soon.
