Powering Customer Support with our women

In Zoho Desk support, women make up 50% of our team. We see this as one of our strengths, reflecting the spirit of this year’s theme, "Give to Gain".

Our women find their balance

Women carry many responsibilities — they represent frontline support, lead teams, drive innovation at the workplace, alongside managing homes and families. We keep working to grow, amplify more voices, and create more balance.
Customer support is the heartbeat of every organization. It is where patience, empathy, and problem-solving come together.

At Zoho Desk, we have women in every part of our customer support operations. Women are present in the first point of contact, providing L1 frontline support and helping customers navigate challenges. They guide operations, implementation processes, sort challenges in codes, manage migrations, and support customers throughout their onboarding journey into Zoho Desk. 


From events like Zoholics, user meetups, and online webinars, they take ownership, follow up on solutions, and maintain the trust every support team relies on. The contribution does not stop there. Some lead teams, mentor colleagues, and keep operations running smoothly. These shape processes support team members and encourage collaboration so everyone moves forward together.

For some, motherhood has strengthened their professional journeys. For others, relocating to pursue education, build careers, and support their families has shaped who they are today. A supportive team makes all the difference. When responsibilities are shared, voices are valued, and everyone has space to contribute equally, it builds confidence and encourages growth

    • Tip #1: Learn to pick the right channels

      Mail, live chat, telephony, social media, web forms—there are so many support channels out there. Trying to pick the right channels to offer your customers can get pretty confusing. Emails are most useful when the customer wants to put things on record. However, escalated or complicated issues should not be resolved over email because it's slow and impersonal.  When you need immediate responses, live chat is more suitable. It's also quick and convenient, so it's the go-to channel for small issues.
