Présentons Ulaa, un navigateur web par Zoho



Zoho est fier de vous présenter Ulaa, un navigateur axé sur la protection de la vie privée, grâce à des fonctionnalités prédéfinies permettant de bloquer le suivi et la surveillance des sites web.
Le navigateur web est doté de fonctionnalités permettant de personnaliser la confidentialité, de proposer des modes de navigation intégrés et de disposer d'outils de productivité intégrés, tout en préservant la sécurité et la confidentialité des données de son utilisateur. Il est également possible de synchroniser les sessions de navigation d'un appareil à l'autre, qu'il s'agisse d'une fenêtre entière ou d'un seul onglet, ce qui permet d'utiliser plusieurs appareils lors d'une même session de navigation, en toute transparence.


 
Ulaa s'articule autour de trois axes principaux :

Confidentialité

  • Les bloqueurs de publicité et de données empêchent le suivi des données de l'utilisateur par les sites web et les traqueurs tiers, tout en bloquant les publicités, les notifications et les fenêtres pop-up indésirables. Au contraire, les navigateurs existants utilisent des traqueurs de temps ou des moniteurs d'inactivité et remontent les données de l'utilisateur au fournisseur du logiciel, ce qui rend la protection des données de l'utilisateur plus difficile.
  • Ulaa ne traque pas vos données et ne les échange pas avec des tiers. Le DNS pre-fetching est interdit, de sorte que les données ne peuvent pas être mises en cache, tout comme les senseurs de mouvement qui suivent les mouvements et les clics de la souris.
  • En règle générale, les identifiants des navigateurs peuvent être utilisés pour suivre les utilisateurs même après qu'ils se sont déconnectés du navigateur. Ulaa dispose d'un modèle multi-ID, qui se rafraîchit fréquemment, ce qui rend impossible la corrélation entre un utilisateur connecté et une session de navigation ; cela ajoute une couche supplémentaire de protection contre un logiciel de pistage. Pour une protection renforcée, il est possible d'activer les fonctions de réinitialisation automatique de l'ID du navigateur à chaque démarrage.
  • Au-delà des possibilités de personnalisation de la confidentialité, des données et statistiques anonymes sur les utilisateurs, de l'isolement géographique des données, du cryptage de bout en bout et des rapports sur la confidentialité, Ulaa désactive l'API qui permet aux sites web de se connecter et de communiquer avec les appareils connectés au réseau d'un ordinateur.

Modes de navigateurs

Ulaa vous permet de basculer entre cinq modes uniques en fonction de l'expérience de navigation souhaitée, chaque mode étant complètement isolé des autres et offrant une expérience de navigation protégée propre au mode en question. Les cinq modes d'Ulaa sont les suivants :

Mode personnel

C'est dans ce mode que vous pouvez effectuer toutes vos opérations financières en ligne, regarder de la musique ou des vidéos en streaming, ou faire des achats. Vous pouvez consulter votre historique de navigation, vos recherches, vos pages favorites et vos cookies sans avoir à vous connecter à Ulaa. Il est possible de se connecter en toute sécurité à vos comptes, d'éviter les publicités et de préserver la confidentialité en ligne. 

Mode Travail

Destiné à être utilisé pour des fonctions professionnelles dédiées, il intègre automatiquement les applications, les sites web et les extensions de navigateur les plus utilisés par vous dans le cadre de votre travail. Ce mode est doté de bloqueurs de publicité sévères qui vous protègent contre les publicités intrusives, les éventuelles attaques de phishing et bien plus encore, afin que vous puissiez rester concentrés et productifs.

Mode développeur

Conçu pour les développeurs web et les testeurs, le mode développeur d'Ulaa comprend une suite d'outils de développement et d'extensions suggérées dans le navigateur. Ce mode vous permet de s'assurer que vos sites web sont compatibles avec différents navigateurs et appareils, et offre également la possibilité de tester de nouvelles fonctionnalités et de développer des applications multiplateformes. Les développeurs peuvent inspecter les éléments HTML, les styles CSS et le JavaScript actuellement chargés dans le mode développeur, tout en gardant une trace des ressources demandées par la page, en surveillant le temps de chargement, et plus encore.

Mode enfants

Ce mode spécial, adapté aux familles, offre aux enfants un espace en ligne sûr où ils peuvent naviguer, apprendre, jouer à des jeux amusants et explorer le contenu en ligne. Il est doté d'un filtrage de contenu natif qui empêche les enfants d'accéder à des contenus inadéquats, ainsi que de fonctions de contrôle parental qui garantissent que les sites web identifiés par les parents sont bloqués lors de l'utilisation du mode enfants.

Mode overt

Ce mode ne comporte absolument aucune restriction en matière de confidentialité. Les bloqueurs de publicité et de suivi étant désactivés, ce mode permet d'accéder à tous les sites web, y compris les sites sans restriction, comme un navigateur classique. Le rouge prononcé de ce mode indique que les fonctions de protection des données sont désactivées et signifie à l'utilisateur que ses activités en ligne sont surveillées.

Productivité

  • Ulaa est équipé d'options de gestion des onglets qui permettent de regrouper et d'organiser tous les onglets ouverts en un seul endroit. Vous pouvez facilement passer d'un onglet à l'autre, fermer ceux qui en ont plus besoin ou les déplacer vers un mode différent ou une nouvelle fenêtre.
  • Ulaa comprend des applications intégrées qui stimulent la productivité, notamment Zia Search pour les utilisateurs existants de Zoho, et Zoho Notebook, un espace de prise de notes dédié qui fonctionne dans tous les onglets, de sorte que vous pouvez facilement noter des idées, des rappels ou des informations importantes sans quitter votre session de navigation. 
  • Ulaa dispose d'Annotator, une nouvelle fonctionnalité intégrée qui vous permet de faire une capture d'écran d'une page ou d'une section de page, d'ajouter des annotations directement aux pages web et aux images, et de partager facilement leurs modifications et leurs notes.
