Skype integration

Forgive me if this has already been asked, but I find the group chat most convenient and have all but gotten rid of all of my IM client software except Skype (I don't really mind having Skype running also, but I would just like to use it for phone and Video, not the chat part). Are there plans to add skype chat integration into the possible account logins in group chat?

I have heard that before that their API integration is hard to work with, is that the problem? Surely I can't be the only one that would like to see a Skype login. Any thoughts and again forgive me if this topic has been raised already?
