Smarter holiday planning with yearly-specific Holiday Lists

Smarter holiday planning with yearly-specific Holiday Lists

Hello everyone!

Managing holidays and business hours is now easier and more efficient. Holiday Lists now support holidays that fall on different dates every year, while business hours now supports more than one holiday list. This helps businesses manage working hours better.

What's new?
Businesses can create holiday lists for up to two years in advance and also associate multiple holiday lists to one set of business hours.

Earlier, setting up holidays for upcoming years was managed using a Recurring holiday List. While this worked well (and only needed to be set up once) for holidays that occur on the same date every year, such as Christmas and New Year's, holidays that fall on different dates every year had to be identified and modified every year.

To address this need, we've introduced year-specific Holiday Lists, along with the facility to associate multiple holiday lists with your Business Hours.

Year-specific holidays

Year-specific holiday lists supports holidays for the current year and the next two years, making it easier to manage holidays that change annually and set the calendar in advance.

Example: Easter falls on different dates each year. Organizations can set up Easter holidays for the upcoming calendar years.

Multiple holiday lists in business hours

Until now only one holiday list could be associated with your business hours, now up to two holiday lists can be mapped, giving you greater flexibility to manage multiple holiday calendars with ease.

For example, a global organization with teams in India may observe both company-wide holidays and regional holidays such as state festivals. By associating two holiday lists with a single set of business hours, businesses can ensure accurate working hours across regions.
