Syncing a custom view imports more than just those in the custom view
I've noticed this a few times now - I create a new sync based on a custom view, and yet only some of the view's criteria are taken into account during the sync. For example, I have criteria in my custom view for source, industry and whether or not the follow up box has been checked.
Yet when the campaign is sent, I've noticed it goes out to absolutely every contact meeting initial criteria of source, as well as to those who have the "follow up" box checked and whether the industry is "corporate" or "event manager".
As I created two syncs and campaigns, one for "corporate" and one for "event manager" each email was carefully structured so it's very embarassing to have the "event manager" email go out to the corporates when they have already had an email designed specifically for them already sent.
The only reason I know this happened is that "corporate" contacts are showing up in the report for emails sent to "event managers".
