Tip and Tricks #01: Take your text for a spin

Hello folks,

Zoho Show's
all-new, clear, contextual interface was a great update to an already great product, so we thought you might appreciate some help putting it to good use.

Following this release, the Zoho Show Community is happy to launch
Tips and Tricks, a biweekly activity series that ‌focuses on hidden features and topics frequently asked by our users. We urge you not only to try them and let us know if they helped but also tell us what else you'd like addressed in the future.

So, let's quickly start off with our first edition of the series, to help you create, design, and deliver effective presentations with Zoho Show

Tip #1: Take your text for a spin
Sometimes you might want to explain a step-by-step procedure, or highlight a paragraph or quote on a slide. To make your point clearer, or draw your viewers' attention to key areas during a slideshow, we're giving you this simple tip to make your text whirl, twist, and turn— Animating text by letter and words

Follow these steps to implement this cool little trick in your own presentations:

  1. Select the placeholder containing the text.

  2. Click  ANIMATE mode at the top right and apply an animation effect you like.

  3. Select the effect, choose All Paragraphs at Once from the Animate dropdown.

  4. Select  By Word or  By Letter  from the drop down menu.

  5. Adjust the duration, direction, and other customization options from the  Animation Order  pane.

  6. Finally, click  Preview  at the top to see the effect in action.

Easy, right?
