I'm new to Zoho and trying to see if using CRM and Projects will help with our construction projects.  I understand what I'm wanting to do is a basic function but somehow I can't get it to work.

I have Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects integrated.  I can create a project from a deal in CRM and it will be available in Projects.

I can create a task in Projects for that project, and I have the option to save it to CRM.  When I do it shows up in CRM.  If I modify that specific task in CRM the change shows in Projects.

I cannot however create a task in CRM and get it to show up in Projects under the associated project, or anywhere else.

Am I mistaken that this is a standard functionality when you integrate Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects?  I'm really wanting Zoho to work out, and I'm trying to keep it simple for now.
