Hello Zoho Assist Community!
In this community, we love to share tips, tricks, and best practices to enhance your remote support experience using Zoho Assist. This week, we’re focusing on how to improve privacy during remote sessions.
Maintaining privacy during remote sessions is a top priority, so Zoho Assist allows technicians to work on a remote computer privately by blacking out the remote screen. When enabled, a placeholder message will be displayed:
This computer is being privately accessed by these technicians: Steffi
This feature ensures that sensitive operations and data remain confidential, while providing transparency to users by allowing customer to see the names of the technicians currently accessing their computer.
Additionally, if you're using Assist for unattended access, you have the option to revoke the black screen at any time. This gives users control over their privacy and ensures they feel secure.
To implement this setting, navigate to Preferences in your Zoho Assist account and scroll down to Blacken Screen. Here, you can enable or disable the black screen prompt and customize the message to be displayed on the user's screen.
