Tip #29- Enhancing remote support with Locale Settings in Zoho Assist- 'Insider Insights'

Hello Zoho Assist Community!

We love helping you make the most of Zoho Assist by sharing valuable tips and best practices. This week, we’re focusing on enhancing the effectiveness of your remote support sessions with our Locale Settings feature.

Say you are a technician working in a non-English speaking country, and you wish to use Zoho Assist in a language you understand. This can make your support sessions more efficient and less stressful. For example, you are a technician in Japan, and you prefer to use the application in Japanese to ensure you can navigate the tools and features with ease.

To implement this setting, navigate to Preferences in your Zoho Assist account and scroll down to Locale Settings. Use the drop-down box to select the language of your choice from the list of supported languages, which includes English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Bulgarian, Swedish, Korean, Dutch, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese (Simplified), Chinese (Traditional), and Japanese.

Additionally, you can update the local time-zone to match the customer’s region, ensuring that all timestamps and schedules align perfectly.

Incorporating this feature into your remote support workflow can significantly enhance the quality of your service. By using the customer's preferred language, you can make the support process smoother and more efficient. This not only improves customer satisfaction but also demonstrates your commitment to providing personalized and attentive support.

Give the Locale Settings feature a try today and experience the difference it makes in your remote support sessions. We’d love to hear about your experiences and how this feature has helped your team. Share your feedback and stories in the Zoho Assist Community!
