Have you ever struggled as a sales rep to visualize where your clients are located and found it tough to get driving directions? Without the location mapping software, it would be incredibly difficult to make travel decisions for a field sales rep.

Using the Map functionalities in the Zoho CRM app, you will be able to identify the location of the Lead or a Contact easily and meet them. You can do all this and more by a tap of a button within each record.

With Zoho CRM's 'Map locator' feature, you will be able to plot the location of the lead/ contact in the Map.

Let us say, you are scheduling a meeting with a lead to meet him at the client's office, instead of copying and pasting the address information in the Google / Apple Maps, clicking the 'Map locator' option will plot the location on the Maps. You can tap on the direction icon within the maps to navigate to the client location.

In iOS, you can use either Google or Apple maps to plot the location of the lead/ contact in map. You can do so, by going to Zoho CRM mobile app > More option (hamburger icon at the bottom right corner) > Maps > Enable/ Disable Google Maps option. If Google Maps is disabled, Apple Maps will be enabled.

Note: For the records to get plotted with Map locator, please ensure that the default address fields are filled in.

To record the meeting with the lead/ contact, you can 'Check-in' to the meeting record associated with the lead/ contact. When check-in is made, the location from where the check-in was made is recorded in the CRM app.

While checking into a record, you will be prompted to associate the check-in with an existing meeting record or create a new record. You can create a new Meeting and check-in to the record or choose the existing meeting record and check-in to it.

Note: You will only be able to check-in to the Meeting record once. A check-in will always be associated with the Meeting record.
