What's New in Zoho Books - May 2018
We're back with a slew of new updates and feature releases for the month of May. Let's dive in!
Add Annexures to Your Invoices
With the new update, you can customize your invoice templates by adding an annexure at the end. This allows you to add extra content apart from your terms and conditions, such as by-laws, clauses and other related information to the end of an invoice.
Filter Items Using Reporting Tags
Ever wanted to know how a particular group of items are faring? With this update, the Sales by Item report can be customized to filter items based on their Reporting Tags. That means, if you’ve created reporting tags and associated them to sales items, you’ll be able to filter the items based on specific Reporting Tags.
New Reports for the UAE Edition
Experience a smoother process of filing your VAT returns with the new FTA VAT Audit Report and Excise Tax Audit Report in Zoho Books. These reports provide you with a consolidated list of all the details required for your VAT filing, which you can generate and download from Zoho Books.
Secure Your Exported Reports
Taking another step towards GDPR compliance, we've added the option to export your reports securely by password protecting them in the CSV, XLS and XLSX formats.
Better Control when You Import Invoices And Bills
If you associate payment gateways to invoices, then this feature will streamline the invoice creation process for you. Simply choose a payment gateway when you create an invoice for a customer and the next time you create an invoice for that contact, the previously chosen gateway will be used by default.
Notify Your Vendors When You Make Payments to them
You don't have to leave your vendors guessing anymore. With the new update, you have the option to send a Payment Made email to your vendors when you record payments for your bills.
