Why do we need an email to sign up?

I would like very much to have this account separate from my primary email. Seeing as though you have an email with zoho, it's pointless. I will have more privacy if I can seperate them. The security question is sufficient. So, please eliminate the need to have an email to sign up, and allow us to dissasociate our accounts with zoho.
