Zoho Finance in CRM Missing Key Elements

When creating an estimate through Books for a customer to accept, when you add a line item there is the dropdown to "Add New Item". Which opens up a panel to link it to Inventory (if needed), and affects Purchase Orders being received, the items being attached to the Project, and feeds into Accounts Payable so when you get the bill you convert the receipt to an invoice.
The issue is in CRM when you're trying to create a Zoho Finance/Books Estimate that dropdown to "Add New Item" does not appear, which means nothing tracks at that point and messes with a lot. So you have to physically switch to Books to create the estimate–it can not be done all in CRM. Is this going to be fixed or is there a setting I'm missing?
