As we implement Zoho One in our organization, we are currently facing a challenge with stock allocation and warehouse management. While the warehouse management part can be handled in Zoho Inventory, our main requirement is the customer-wise stock allocation process.
Our current process is that once stock is received into the warehouse, we allocate the available stock against specific customers/orders based on their requirements and commitments. However, we have not found a standard feature in Zoho Inventory that allows us to properly manage this type of customer-wise stock allocation/reservation.
We would like to understand whether this can be achieved using Zoho Inventory Workflows, Custom Functions (Deluge), Custom Modules, or any other available customization/automation.
The expected process would be:
Stock Received → Available Stock → Allocate/Reserve Stock Against Customer/Order → Track Allocated vs. Available Stock → Fulfil Customer Order
We would like to know the recommended way to implement this process in Zoho Inventory without affecting the actual warehouse stock, while still maintaining clear visibility of available, allocated/reserved, and unallocated stock.
