Pivot Table Filters
Hello, My company has connected our Zoho Projects to Zoho Reports, and we've created a Project Schedule using the pivot table function. We are currently trying to filter out any old end dates and items that have been completed. We are trying to filter out all items that have been completed from the previous year (2015), and from January 2016, but when we filter these dates to be excluded from the pivot table it is not working. How are you sharing your reports with others in your organization?
Would anyone be interested in sharing an overview of how you share your Zoho Reports in (or out of!) your organization? I'm interested to know what sort of practices you're following, since this is my first time building and sharing reports. There are more than 30 people in the organization, but I'm the only user of Zoho Reports. I produce a weekly business development dashboard that is based on Zoho CRM data plus a couple of other data sources. I export it as a PDF and e-mail it to all-staff.
Edited value in Time format does not fit with what is edited
Hi, i faced with the issue on wrong editing of "Time format" columns: 1. import data from google doc both Date and Time columns as plain text. 2. set Date type = dd MMM yyyy HH:mm:ss 3. For column that contains Time > Apply "Format Column" to HH:mm a 4. Change any value in cell : from 3:15 pm to 3:16 pm >> but>> 1:40 am is shown instead http://i.imgur.com/ImcrhE1.png Chrome browser at Desktop. Data Quality Dashboard Content
I would like to put together a data quality dashboard that shows how complete our Zoho CRM Account records are. I'm curious about how others go about showing this kind of information in a dashboard. Specifically, I'd like to report on the percentage of accounts with any given field having content. Is there a way to, for example, show the total count of Accounts as a 100% stacked bar with the percentage of the Billing State field having some content? I don't care about all fields, but I think
Pre-render Zoho Reports slide show for a low-performance passive monitor display?
I'm sure we're not the only ones who are displaying a simple 6-page slide show on a "public" (in-house) monitor. The thing is, when the slide show runs on a 10-second cycle, it will spend the first 5-7 seconds displaying only "Rendering..." and then display the actual slide for only 3-5 seconds. Given that the slide show will display the same 6 pages over and over again, this seems rather inefficient. As far as I understand, new data is not imported continuously but only once or a few times a day.

Add account name to custom contact report
I created a custom report using the account and contact reports section showing the emails the contacts have received over a specific period. I can create the report I need however I cannot add the Account Name of the contact to the report. This field - Account Name - is not a column available to add to the report. Any ideas on how to create a report showing a list of emails by contact that includes account name greatly appreciated!
CASE statement in query table over 100 characters for column length
I've been working my way through the forums getting a ton of insight, so thanks for that. But I can't seem to find an answer to this issue. When I create a CASE statement to bundle different accounts together, I can't get the column name length down to 100 characters. Is there a way to get around that? Monthly SLA Performance % Chart
Hi, I am trying to create a line chart showing monthly performance as a percentage. We have a column in a table within the database showing "Pass" or "Fail" but I cannot get a chart to calculate this value as a percentage of the total of entries with "Pass" or "Fail" If this possible? Thanks

How to add filtering in Tabular Report placed on a Dashboard
Hi, I created a Tabular report (on Table1) which is used on the Dashboard. There is another Summary report (on Table2) also in the Dashboard. I made the SalesPerson ID in the Table2 a lookup column to Sales Person ID in Table 1. On the dashboard, I added a user filter to Table2 column Sales Person ID. My expectation is that, when I select a sales person id, it should filter both the reports since that is a look up column. But the Tabular Report does not filter while the Summary report works fine.

"Almost" duplicate Events showing up in tables (and therefore reports)
Hi, We've sync'd our CRM with Zoho Reports and have noticed that certain of our Events have duplicate entries, although with different Modified Dates and different EventIDs. Not sure where these duplicates came from. When I look at an object in the CRM with that Event, it only shows the one Event. Thanks, Justin
Importing data into zoho report table
Hi, Im importing using uploading tool from a mysql database to a zoho table. Only the data in one column get wrong imported. The column in mysql is defined as longtext. I get these value in the fields (instead of the proper text) [B@100271a [B@100271a I do not have these kind of problems with mysql data type varchar, only with longtext. iPad - Not Getting Previews

Uploadtool: Query Problem

I’m trying to add a new Query from my SAP business one Database to Zoho reports using uploadtool, but when I add following query to database_sql_queries file (as I always do), then Zoho doesn´t upload any data. Lead/Potential Source Analysis
Is there a way of tracking the source of a lead right from initial lead generation through to sale? And visually showing this in a graph? For example 10 leads from google search 20 leads from event 5 google were converted to potential 11 event leads were converted to potential 3 google leads resulted in job 5 event leads resulted in job I seem to loose data when lead is converted into potential and finding it hard to track. Also seems as if there is a lag and it doesn't update all data?
Can not upload from MYSQL using upload tool
Hello, I know this is a common issue so I have looked through the other posts about this but no luck with my specific issue. I am trying to upload from a local mysql instance into zoho using the UploadFromDB .bat file. I have edited all 3 of the configuartion files and made sure that the parameters are correct. I have tried both running the .bat directly and tried running it from the command prompt. On cmd I get the below attached error. Please review if you can and provide some insight. Also
Wrapping SQL Query Error text
When building a new query in Reports, I've notice that you now helpfully produce some suggestions to fix the query when there's an error. But in Chrome at least, this text does not wrap inside the window. Anyway to force it to do that? It would make it much easier to take advantage of this assistance.
Append Records to Existing Data
I have a database which includes: SALE DATE, ITEM CODE, END CLIENT. The END CLIENT field is currently empty. I have a excel sheet on my PC which lists all ITEM CODEs and who the END CLIENT is. I attempted to update all records in Zoho Reports with the END CLIENT name, hoping it would match the ITEM CODE. Unfortunately, it simply added all the records at the end. Wrap Text in description column for dashboard PDF export
I'm creating a report using a combination of dashboard and a tabulated report. Reason for this being that when I export the tabulated report the column widths are the same size, therefore the column with descriptions in it is quite thin and squashed. However if I create a dashboard, insert the report and then export as a PDF there is an option to use proportionate widths, which works great. However when I export the dashboard report to PDF the text in the descriptions column does not wrap do words

I have monthly data which I want to summarise into quarterly data. When I use Reports it appears to sum the data for the whole quarter and what I want to see is the data for each quarter end over the year. Could you explain how this is done in reports

How to add custom formula?
I am currently using ZOHO Reports, and would like to add a custom formula. I tried following these instructions in the FAQ (https://www.zoho.com/reports/help/table/add-formulas.html#Custom_Formula), but don't seem to be able to find the 'Add' button in the first place. Please advise, thank you.

My company's main software platform provides revenue and customer reports in the form of PDF, Exel, or XML, but the report formats do not provide any flexilbity for producing a management report that would compare YTD and monthly data this year vs last year. In order to obtain the data I need for my desired management report. I am currently running 30 to 40 reports each month, and I save them as PDF files, then i type in the required data into an Excel spreadsheet that serves as my management report.
