Customers with same name
Hello, 1)I run a business in which a lot of company names are similar to one another OR a lot of the companies have similar names, but vary with location or the contact owner. The issue here is when i create a sales order or invoice i get to see only the display names Hence it shows repeated names and i am not able to find out the exact customer from the list. 2) Is there a way to stop the Display name from showing up in the billing address in the sales orders? Always Tax Inclusive
Why cant you consider ALWAYS TAX INCLUSIVE addition to the existing options.. Since we are doing GST invoices, It is compulsory to keep TAX Inclusive in each invoice. Now we have to update the same to tax inclusive or check and confirm the same. In the retail Invoice there is no option to select the same. so we are suppose to alter the invoice after saving/posting. Kindly help us to solve the issue.

Hi All, Zoho Books now support the "Purchase Orders" feature :-) Yes, you can issue purchase orders to your vendors and can convert them into bills in Zoho Books. All you have to do is to enable the "Purchase Orders" from the 'Preferences' section (under the 'Settings'). Then start creating the purchase orders for all your purchases. Item Groups Alphabetical
We use to be able to view "Item Groups" alphabetically in books. Now we are not able to by hitting the "Name" column. Has something changed that we are not aware of ?

Custom Invoice/Estimate Numbers
Hello there, I have a specific invoice / estimate number system which was so far based on a number of parameters: For estimates, my numbering takes on the following format: EST-YYAA-MMDD/NN.RR Where, YY is the year in which the estimate was created (e.g. 17 for 2017) AA is a alphanumeric project code (taken from a custom dropdown field called "Project Type" I created under Estimate Preferences, it's 2 or 3 characters long) MM is the month in which the estimate was created (e.g. 12 for December)
Bank Accounts directly linked rather than importing bank statements
Is it possible to link my bank account with zoho books so that the transactions get imported in directly for reconcilliation rather than importing bank statements? Is this safe?

Zoho Books - Stripe & WePay Helo
I've configured WePay and Stripe for use withing ZoHo Books. However, when trying to take payments online we have received this error: We are unable to process the payment at the moment as "Please ensure that the field values are valid and non empty." "Invalid URL Passed" exception while creating customer contact in Zoho books using rest API.
Hi Experts, We are using .Net c# code to create a customer contact in Zoho books using Zoho books Rest API.But we are getting "Invalid URL Passed" exception. Please find the attached sample code screenshot "Customer_Contact.png" for your reference., It seems that JSONString is not passed correctly. Could you please let us know how to pass the JSONString. Sales order custom view criteria
Unfinished works guys ? We only have "Is" for status & subStatus ? We'd also like ... Is Not Contains Does not contain In Books & Inventory please! You may as well give us the ability to remove whichever columns we choose - Date & Amount is not a priority to be listed for me & would tidy up the list nicely if removed :-) I also notice the Invoiced, packed & shipped statuses aren't available in custom views ? - Oooops - that's just in Books, it's there in Inventory !

Item Group Description field does not propagate
The 'Description' field for a single item shows up on estimates, sales orders and invoices like it should, but the description field for Item Groups does not. Maintaining sequential invoice numbers with flipkart and amazon
Amazon and flipkart now generate invoice numbers for orders that we get through them. GST requires we keep sequential invoice numbers. How then do we keep the invoice numbers in zoho books sequential if they are generating their own invoice numbers for us?

VAT KSA Implementing Regulations-Offline System
According to VAT Implementaion regulation of Saudi arabia, it is necessary to have the servers physically available in the country. to follow this rule one in KSA cannot go with zoho books as long as it is Online. Hello, my company sells houses for middle class people. We also give credit to our customers so that they are able to buy our houses. These credits work exactly as a mortgage and the longest term we authorize is for 10 years. It has become a little complicated for us to manage these mortgages. I have looked at different softwares, one of them is turnkey lender however I like working with zoho corporation. Editing Invoice and Sales order database- deleting custom fields
In order to delete unused custom field for Items they need to be removed from Invoice and SO transactions. If I export SOs and Invs I see all instances of their use have a FALSE in them (the default). Deleting all the values and re importing does not work because Z Books will not overwrite existing invoices, will only add new invoices which makes sense for safety. Associating reporting tags to manually categorized transactions
Hi, I need to manually categorize some bank feeds (payments) as no invoices will be created for these payments. I would like to associate a reporting tag while I am categorizing the bank transactions. I notice that while I am manually categorizing the transaction, I do not get any option to associate the reporting tag. GSTR 1 Quarterly Filing
After choosing Quarterly option in settings and pushed the transactions of GSTR 1, the B2B transactions of August is not getting pushed in GST portal, only transactions of Sep is being pushed and visible. Is the quarterly filing facility still incomplete? Or how to push the August transactions?
