Disappearing Deluge
Hello - I will find my application not working correctly, go into edit, only to find my deluge script on a particular field completely missing. It seems only to be happening on subforms - and it may have only been happening after I added //comments to my script. I am going to remove the comments to see if that alleviates the problem. Has anyone experienced this or know the reason this is happening?

Give access to form but only allow them to edit one field
i have a database of clients that i want the sales reps to be able to edit the comment box but not allow them to edit the other fields such as the address etc. Is there a way to give them access to the form but only allow them to edit one field?

Insufficient Privileges to Perform Operation
I have written a Creator Database for demonstration to a potential client. It is simply a database of Sales with links to the Customer and Product (in CRM) database. However whenever I click on either entity it does not go to that record (as I would expect) but opens a new tab with this error message. I have produced a screen shot of this (attached). Mass update Account for selected Contacts
Hi, I have a requirement that on a Contacts view you can select some Contacts and then press a custom button that will open a small window where you can select an Account and that account will be set for all selected Contacts. I was searching how can this be done but yet found no way of doing that. With a custom button for example I can open Zoho creator form but how to pass selected Contacts to that form? Or if I create a custom Zoho creator form to use it instead of Contacts view is there a way

Prevent further data entry without "cancelsubmit"
I have a client form with a status field 'approved" or "not approved". In a second form "Repor"t: there is a Lookup field" that returns the value of of the client status. If the status is "not approved "I basically need to terminate data entry and gently boot off the user and get them to fix the client status. I do not really want to use the validate script on submission as it will annoy the user no end to lose the date entered after completing the form. I guess that i could hide all the fields in
licence for executing Schedules
Hi, Is it correct that schedules can only be executed on the paying version of zoho ? It is a little bit confusing as for other functions (eg sub forms) it clearly indicates this functionality is not available for the free version. However you can save schedules with no warning, they just don't run. Thanks

Allow user to add "choices" to a drop down list
Hi, Is there a way to include in a form a tool allowing the user to edit (directly from within the form) the choices available in a list (drop menu, check box...) to either add an option or change the options listed? If not, is there a way to add (next to the concerned field) a "button" or hyperlink pointing to a page where the user can edit the values available in the list? The "Allow other choice" option is NOT an option as this only allows the user to add a value not in the list for this one

Question about data entry in the zoho creator report criteria / portal
Hi, There is an option under reports criteria to get selective data presentation, this is the option : Added_User equals to zoho.loginuser But then it's only possible to show the customers data after has done his data entry. Is there an alternative to get it upfront? like .... Email_adres equals to zoho.loginEmail or something like that? pls help me out.
Feature request: default value in Lookup fields
I would like to be able to give a lookup field a default value, so that the user can tab straight over it if the default is correct. This is particularly important when there is only one value to select from. As it currently is, it is clumsy: the user has to click the down arrow and select the only value, which is two unnecessary mouse clicks. Also: any chance Zoho could get rid of the word -Select- in these fields? The nature of the field with the down arrow on the right hand end makes it pretty
Issue in Zoho Field
Hello, I have a query regarding templates. There is a field in the template with the expression. ie ${Contacts.Desired Neighborhoods}. When user put values from website, this expression took multiple values. but the issue is these values comes in the single line and hide after particular width.I want <br> after each value so each and every data can readable. I have a Form with existing records, and i want to add a Formula field which shows the time between now and a date in the form. That's pretty straight forward: (Contract_Termination_Date - zoho.currentdate) However, on making this change, all existing records get wiped out - is there a way to avoid this?

Pass a record to a function
I have forms that represent categories and subcategories of items. I allow users to drill down into groups, categories, and subcategories, etc. I'm using a Rich Text field in each record to create a set of hyperlinks to go back to the parent records. For example: Group -> Category -> Subcategory. I group my reports by this field and users can click on any level to go back. I have a requirement where I need user context logic to control: a) the default value of a lookup field for say a company in a form b) If the the user is from the companyA, i want to automatically set the company to his/her companyA but not let them change it. So userA can add/edit assets for CompanyA only while userB can add/edit assets for company B only. I need it to work such that in edit mode the Company field will be disabled, yet show the appropriate company depending on who the user

Hi, We are looking at creating an automated on-boarding process for potential partners. The process would go as follows; 1) Salesperson has meeting, enters prospective partner info into CRM (as lead) 2) Automated email > Business Partner Profile Contact Form 3) If they complete & submit the form, that triggers another automated email with 2 more forms to be completed. If they don't complete the form, for whatever reason, that non-completion should trigger an automated email reminding them to complete.

Mobile Device - Why No "Send To PDF" and/or Email? Option?
Sure would be great in my application for the user to be able to have PDF/Email as an option (in addition to the physical printer option) that they will rarely have in their 95% mobile world. I do not see this as an option in iOS or Android, smartphones or tablets.

HI, I have an existing creator application that takes booking for Hotels - about 100 bookings per day. I was thinking about adding the facility to take credit card payments directly into the creator application. Has anyone there done this before? How to show total sales in a month
Sorry, Im as new as they come.. I have created a form that records sales each day. I have also been able create the report that shows all the entries in a spread sheet. How do I create another report that will total all the sales in those entries? Once again I apologize for my probably ridiculously easy question.
Creator Sharing Problems: "You are not allowed to access this application."
Hi Zoho Support/Community, I am new to Zoho and testing out the FREE version of Creator which should allow up to 3 users. (a) User 1: This is my account. Under User & Permission, it was automatically assigned Manager (Role) and Administrator (Profile) when I created this account. These can't be changed. (b) User 2: Sent invite to this person via the "Share" feature under Application Settings. Assigned same Manager (Role) and Administrator (Profile) as User 1. Changing mobile/tablet interface - Zoho form
Hey Guys, I have an application created in my zc account. I was wondering if there is any chance of changing the look and feel of the form when opened from a tablet/phone? For example, I have 10 vertically aligned fields in my forms and I want to show them in 2 columns instead of 1. I have changed the layout to "Double Column view" and it works when I open it on my laptop but when I open from my tablet, it shows the old format (1 column view). Any way I can get the double column view on my tablet?
HTML View Scope
If I have a stateless form embedded in an html view, is it possible to get that form's input from the HTML View's script? I know I can process the stateless form in its own script, and send the input through parameters of the HTML View, but is it possible to just use something like <input.statelessFormField> within the HTML View's script directly? I always get a variable not declared message of some sort when trying to access the stateless form's input directly from the HTML View script.
