phone number format - Zoho Creator
I must be missing this somehow, but I can't seem to find a "phone number" field when adding fields to a form. The closest field is Number, but that field won't allow ( ) or dashes -. Please tell me I missed it and that Creator isn't missing a phone number field format. That's so basic...

I have a form linked to paypal and when I try to run it through zoho dashboard or the code embed I got "Invalid entries found. Please correct and submit again." then "Failed to add data." I am trying to get a Number field to auto populate in a form, but I keep getting the ID showing.Trying to learn the new Script Builder. Forms - MAS (Lock No), Terminal Information (Mas), Technician Service Call (Mas) As the dispatcher, dispatches the call, she selects the Terminal No and the info auto Populates the fields. background in html-pdf view
Hi, I have a html view http://www.creator.zoho.com/misca/consulado-geral-do-brasil/htmlview/Print1/edit/ in which I put a background in html language. In a simulator I can see the correct html view, but when I put it in the view of zoho creator I can see the image as background. How can do to see it? Thanks Mic

Zoho Support, I sent an emergency request 7 days ago, and all I have gotten from you is en email saying you will look into it. I have sent repeated follow up emails, and left a voicemail. I don't like to air my dirty laundry but you leave me no choice but to come to the forums. As an "Enterprise" client, I can't imagine doing this to one of my own top payment-tier clients. When is someone going to help me?
Sharing error- User doesn't have access to database
Every time i add a user, this happens. they see the login screen but an error message hovers over it stating that they don't have access please log in as another user.

recieved the following message when loggin in. You have logged in as {email}. You are not allowed to access this application. Please click here to login as a different user. Click here to go to your Home Page. I have sharred the application with them, so I am not sure why they are receiving this message.
calculating a midpoint date
Is there a way to calculate and store a date that is midway between two other dates? This is how I would expect it to be calculated, though I'm not sure how to code it: MidpointDate = StartDate + ( (EndDate - StartDate)/2 ) I want this field to be calculated when the StartDate and EndDate have been entered and then to have it stored within the same form. I also plan to create an email notification triggered by the calculated MidpointDate.
Changing field from currency to decimal
On trying to do this I receive a popup warning me that data will be lost when changing the field type. Is there any way to do this without losing Data?
Create New Record Script Issues
I have three separate forms that I've created in ZOHO Creator to push their data into CRM. I have a Contacts, Companies, and a custom made Expense (CustomModule3) modules setup in CRM. I have used the exact same script for all three Creator forms and updated the fields accordingly. When I run the Contacts and Companies application through creator, all data I submit makes it back into CRM and adds the new data. Hide -Select- from dropdown
I would like to ask you if it is possible to hide the '-Select-' from a dropdown menu and also to set a default value on it. As an example: first choice second choice third choice Is it possible to set 'second choice' as a default value? Emailing PDF report with single record
Hi, I hope someone can help. Firstly, I will explain what I have working, then describe what I can’t get to work. Working functionality: Find the last record entered by the logged in user, store the record ID, send a PDF version of all records in the view by email, and finally open the view with the single record in the same window. Auto Populate Drop Down Fields Based on a Numeric Field
I am building a sample request form for my company's sales team to use. It contains a numeric field called "2-digit Area #" and a drop down field called "Regional Sales Manager". I would like the drop down box to auto populate with the appropriate RSM once the unique 2-digit Area # is entered. Each RSM covers a range of 10 to 20 areas as their region. These numbers are consecutive for each region (i.e. west region = 1-19, north = 20-39, etc.). I can't for the life of me get this to work. Please point

Question on report capabilities
I'm interested in using Zoho Creator but before I invest too much time there is one feature I must ensure is available. One of my requirement is to print on to a pre-printed form (membership cards). So a line report doesn't quite fit because I need to be able to lay the fields out across the page. Is it possible to create a report with such a layout?

I would like to limit the width of the notes I add so it matches the label width . Also can I would like to open form through an api push with some data for the form already there . I can use script to adjust the note based on form entries but I don't know how to change the CSS of the field - Is there a was to make note change live and still keep the setting - meaning font color , size also how do you word wrap inside a note field
Is it possible to save a record, but stay on the form?
I have a form that I would like to (using script) save the current record, but stay on the form with the record still displayed? The reason is that I need the record ID for the current record so that I can do some further work involving child records (before you ask, using subforms is not suitable for what I want to do).

Embedding a Google Map into a Form
I'm creating a property database application and I'm trying to give the users the ability to find the location of the property on a google map. Is it possible to embed a google map on a form so that when users input a new property they can locate the address on a google map, which will then be displayed in the report so that when I run the report I can easily find where the property is located?

Form to fill limited Volunteer positions
We'll be recruiting 350+ volunteers for 40 positions. The form will collect the basic name, address, email, etc plus volunteers will pick what position/shift they want to help. Is there a way to limit the number of volunteers submitting for a specific position. Example, we need 20 volunteers for registration....after we have 20, we either need to remove that option or show it filled. How can we limit specific positions? Thanks Doug
Attachment File Size Limits
I am wondering if there are any plans to increase the file size limit of 1MB for files attached to database entries. I often need to attach .pdf files to certain entries, but I seem to always have a handful of files that go just over the 1MB limit. Even a relatively small bump to 2MB per file would be a big help. Lock date in Calendar View
Hi All, I'm working on a application that revolves around a Calendar View. The drag and drop feature is just superb however I've come up against an issue that I can't think of a way to solve so any help will be greatly appreciated. Full screen record editing
Hi All, When adding a record, the form loads full screen. Is there anyway of being able to edit records in full screen too rather than a window as shown below: The problem is that the edit window isn't wide enough to show the subform widths and the horizontal scroll bar is right at the bottom of the form. OnLoad Set variable "Name" to correspond to Loginuser.ID?
Form A has a list of users with details such as Name , Phone number etc and includes the unique Loginuser.ID for each user record. Form B is related and on load sets variables to show the current date, user id an so forth. How can I set the Name variable on Form B to correspond to the particular loginuser. ID. ? In other words retrieve the real name of the submitter for Form B. I guess that it is a "Fetch records" problem but I cannot get it to work properly.

Bulk Edit Radio Button - Possible Bug?
Hi, I have a database which contains a form with a mandatory radio button field of Gender. Having imported the records, I have discovered that I need to change the M and F values in the import to Male and Female in order to select the correct radio button.
