Dynamic Lookup not working
Hi, I've followed the example shown on https://www.zoho.com/creator/help/fields/configuring-conditional-drop-downs.html#Create_Dynamic_Lookup to the letter, however cannot get it to work - is there a version problem that is causing this example to no longer work?
Script Builder Deleting Parentheses and Throwing Error
In free flow, I type this and save it without any errors: Changing to script-builder it deletes the parentheses and throws an error: In Criteria left expression is of type STRING and right expression is of type BOOLEAN and the operator + is not valid If I fix it in script building and then go back to free flow, it again deletes the parenthesis. ZC must have some additional error-checking when switching between the two edit modes that should be analyzed and fixed. Cheers, John Whitney

Bypass print dialogue
Any way to bypass the print dialogue? for frequent printing this is becoming a hassle to close the print dialogue each time.
Editing a record someone else created
I am running as Admin. I am trying to edit a record using this link: https://creator.zoho.com/..../Contracts/record-edit/Contracts_List/1526298000000568067 That works OK. If I use the ID of a record created by someone ELSE, I get You are not authorized to edit this record. BUT, if I use a different view which has exactly the same permissions.... https://creator.zoho.com/.....Contracts/record-edit/Contracts_Testing/1526298000000568067 I CAN edit any record. Anyone have any ideas? Alex
Data records missing - just 2 remain
I have entered data over the last few months on student details. All of a sudden, now all I see is just 2 records. I have no idea where all the other entries have gone? Is there an option to restore or access this data? Please help.
Upload field is not tall enough
All of the sudden every time I put in an upload field it is not tall enough and the data as well as the word "Browse" is chopped in half. It never used to do this. I submitted a support ticket but was just told they don't see it despite the fact that hundreds of my members do. Not sure what to do and how to fix this as it is very important and I do not get a reply from my support ticket. Yehoshua

Chart based on record entered by UserID
Is it possible to have a chart that only shows information that was entered by the current userid? Actually I'm looking for something more complex. The application has multiple stores. Each store manager has a Zoho Login ID. I would like a function that checks the userid against the store file and and gets the store ID for that user. It then displays a chart of the activity for that store ID. Is this possible?
Auto populate date field with timestamp date
I have a date field that I would like to have auto populated with the timestamp date (mm-dd-yyyy 00:00:00) on Add and Edit. I don't see a timestamp function. How can I acheive this?
On User Input error, evaluating STRING
I have a subform that has on user input coding that is supposed to auto fill the a majority of the form. When I use the form on its on it works perfectly. When I use it through the main form the sub-form gives this error. I understand where the error is occurring I'm just not sure what is wrong with it. Especially when it works find on the main page.
Sharing of a subform
I am using the new style subform which does not require a separate form. One of the fields in the subform is a file upload field. On the view of the form I show some fields from the subform as a hyperlink. When the user clicks a window pops up showing all the fields from the subform including the file upload field. When clicking on the upload field they are asked for a zoho login ID as if they do not have access rights to the field. Since there is no separate form how do I change the rights for the

I haven't used Zoho Creator in the last 2 months. I have recently found the "New App Builder". How are people finding it? What are the pros/cons? I'm used to the old builder and don't want to switch to the new app builder if there are problems/bugs.
Converting Simple Excel Formula to Deluge Script
Hi I'm currently evaluating Creator and have fallen at the first hurdle. I have a simple excel formula to calculate commission on sale price: =IF(Net Sold Price <50,Commission Level *Net Sold Price,0) I know that I need to write a script in Creator to achieve this same result. I am not a developer, i don't know java or VBA so this simple task is extremely frustrating. Can anyone provide the script that I need to enter in to the form? Any help would be much appreciated! Problem with Field in Email
I have a form that generates an email that includes a number of fields. I created a second form including some of the same fields and I am creating the script for the email. However, when I add the deluge statement for that field (<%=Property%>) the script generates the following error message: Error at line number : 2 Improper Statement Error might be due to missing ';' at end of the line or incomplete expression Furthermore, if I go and edit the script for the first form, without making any changes

Need method to show relationship between different records in the same form.
I have a contacts form with multiple subforms with in it. I need to show that any one record could be related to several other records in the same form ( One to many relationship between multiple records in the same table) The method I attempted was to create a relationships table with a lookup pointing to the contacts form. I then placed this relationship form as a subform in the contacts table. The view displays properly and seems to work however the contacts form crashes with the unable to

I created a form. When users have completed it, it gives a message that data was submitted. However, the form does not close. It stays open, so users can keep entering again and again. How do I correct that?
Images are lost when converting HTML view to PDF
For some reason images are lost when converting a HTML View to PDF. assigning a value upon submit button
So I have two forms 1) Main_image_id with variables a) Main_id b) Main_complete (numeric variable currently all set to 0) <-- I want this value to be turned to a 1 on submit from form 2 (Images) 2) Images a) Main_id <--from lookup dropdown referencing Main_id in form Main_image_id b) bunch of other fields. What I want to do is when the submit button is selected I want to change Main_complete = 1. Then I want to filter the lookup dropdown

Custom record summary shows wrong data from subform
Hi, When I create a custom record summary, where it's supposed to get a value from a subform, that has a lookup field. Insted it writes an ID, like 1604938000000048429 It works fine everywhere else than in the record summary i'v created. The default record summary can also show it, but I can't see how this has been set up.. How to fix :=) ?
Allow different permission to different users
Support, I created a report with calendar view. Now, I want to allow access to edit records only to a particular group of users and for a different group, need to give access to add and edit records both. Is there any way to do this? Thanks.
Republish Application doesn't seem to work properly
Hi, I'm working on an app in my account and have regularly been 'republishing' it to my client's account. The problem is, it doesn't seem to republish correctly. Creator Calendar View - On Click Action
I want to put in a suggestion for the calendar view. I would like there to be a way to edit the on click function in calendar view. Right now when you click an item on the calendar it pops up the edit dialog box. I would recommend that you have a way to allow us to determine the on click function. For example i do not want a pop. I would like to run an openurl script when the calendar item is clicked. Do you plan on rolling out an onclick function for creator calendar view so we can customize
Google Apps User field select list displays no users
1.Creating a new creator app/form. 2. Drag Gapp fields to form and select user name and another with ID 3. Run application, no users or ids show in the select list? Looks like creator can not get to the google users? Is there something i missed in the configuration?
Stateless forms single table
I have a form I am creating and it no longer let's me add fields as I think I have reached the limit. My thought then was to create two stateless forms that update a single table upon submission. How do I link two stateless forms to a single table and submit the data? I've also noticed that my stateless form is continuing to allow me to add fields past the limit on the regular form. Should I use a single stateless form and then have it update to a single table? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
All systems suddenly not working - cannot input data
Hi, We have just had something happen across all of our Zoho applications which is preventing us from updating a field. It appears that the drop fields are now not passing data back to the scripts. Need Help with a subform
I am new to Zoho so bear with me. I have two basic forms I am connecting. The first is a customer form; first name, last name, address, phone, email, etc. I then have a class field that I put in specifics on date, time, etc. To the class I want to add a roster - i.e. people who have taken the class. Applying report criteria on sub form in not working
I have a sub form with two fields Date and Amount. Now when I create a report with a filter on Date of e.g Nov. It will pick up the October dates that have been entered in the subform also as i think it treated the entry as one. Now in the last entry as you can see I only want the $300 amount of Nov to show and not the $300 of October. My search criteria is very simple for the report . I have specified the dates to be of Nov. Can anyone guide as to what I can do here.

how bulk renew fields in entries?
hi there is about 1000 entries in database each entry has - id like id1, id2, id3 and so on - number of fields - field1, field2, field3 and so on how can i renew one of field in all entries? example - renew content on field3 in all entries from id1 to id1000.
Show which columns are being sorted.
Using a View in Creator, you cannot tell which column(s) are being sorted. Add small (maybe colored), up/down arrows above the field name to indicate: That it is sorted Which direction it is sorted What level in the sort order (add more arrows horizontally to indicate the sort level) And add a 'Clear All Sort Fields' button, just like you can clear all search filters.
Sharing issue - again
Is anyone having sharing issues? One of our administrative staff has been "cut off" from a report that she accessed this morning. Now I have shared a new page for a presentation tomorrow and they are not able to access the page. Let me know if anyone has a solution or similar issue.
