Hi I'm creating a database to track my student organization and I'd like to make it easier to look up records. If someone enters their First and Last name into First_name and Last_name fields, I'd like Full_Name to concatenate the first and last name. Thank you ahead of time!

After editing in summary view, don't see the edited record
When I display a single record (via a Summary View), then edit it and press Update, the next record shown is NOT the record just edited. Is there a way to make it so? It's very confusing otherwise. It seems to make no difference whether I use a URL like this: ..../#View:Organization_Show?recLinkID=1526298000000079110 or like this: .../view-perma/Organization_Show?recLinkID=1526298000000079110 I get the same result of it NOT displaying the edited record. Success Message not Displaying
I have a stateless form that I am trying to embed into my website. It works great, with the one exception I can't seem to get the success message to display. When I submit the data, it just resets the form with no indication that it was successful as opposed to just reseting the form. I've also tried a link in the next url field, but that doesn't work either. Any help or suggestions? Any other information you might need? Thanks!

Confused about record selection in URLs
I've created a Summary Report to display a single record. However, the id selector doesn't seem to be working. Whatever ID I use, in the form of: ....view-perma/Organization_Display?id=1526298000000079470 (the IDs I use ARE valid!) I get exactly the same record displayed, which is the one displayed by: ....view-perma/Organization_Display BTW - I've used the same format to do the same thing on another table, and it works perfectly. Apply same filter for multiple reports on HTML Page
Hello, I'm trying to make a 'dashboard' view to summarize a customer's history based on input from multiple Forms (service reports, customer data, time since last maintenance, etc.). I've created a Report for each Form, and then embedded these in a Page. In order to select which customer the dashboard is for, I've enabled filtering by this field for each embedded Report. However, this requires setting the filter separately for each sub-Report on the Page. Is there any way to set the filter once
Custom Styles in Embedded Reports
What is the best way to create custom CSS or other styles to a Zoho Creator Report? Do I have to create a separate "Page" and build it from scratch? Certainly not.... All I have found so far is very limited color changes but I need to adjust the font size of various records and even better would like to highlight certain groups or records differently. Apologies for the seemingly simple question but I am very new to the whole Zoho world. I have built an app in Creator that has a Zoho CRM field that pulls from Contacts to populate fields on my form. combine info from two forms in one report
Hello all, Some help would be appreciated. I have three forms which make up kind of a library for hard drives which come in and out of our office. The first form (DRIVE_CATALOGUE) establishes a unique ID number for each drive (DRIVEID) and saves some other permanent details. There is also a LOCATION field which is hidden and cannot be edited via the form. It pulls data from the other two forms, depending which was updated most recently (see below.) The second form (DRIVE_CHECKOUT) is filled in
New auto-hide dashboard's horizontal scroll-bar doesn't load always.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Create as many forms as it would take to exceed the 3-column listing on the auto-hide dashboard, such that a horizontal scroll-bar would be required to reach all forms. 2. Logout and login (or just open a new tab). 3. Go to the "Forms" tab in the auto-hide Dashboard menu. The horizontal scroll doesn't appear. However, when you navigate to other tabs ("Pages" or "Reports") and return to the "Forms" tab, the scroll bar starts to appear. The problem occurs consistently. -Varun.

Keywords used in HTML Page disallows saving it but with an irrelevant message.
If a variable is named after a keyword (like say "count") in the HTML page, the save fails with an error message that asks the developer to contact the support. set variable to portion of lookup field
I have a lookup field in FormB that is pointed to FormA. That lookup field is pulling a string and a date. I am trying to look at the date associated with the string to figure out if the item is acceptable or not. When I create an if statement looking at the portion of the lookup field it says it cannot access child fields. Am I coding this wrong or what way should I go about it so that I can get the information I need. Thank you.

When I am in the Cases (or other modules) of CRM and Choose an existing Contact (lookup), the associated account is automatically filled in for the Case. Hi All, Is it possible to generate a new form and view by scripting? I have an application where the user will enter a name for the new form and somehow I'd like this to be created On Success. filling a URL Field with a null address
Hi All I am a newbie both to databases and this particular method of creating them. I have made a form with the main primary field being the identifying name of an item. What I would like is that the name is clickable to an associated URL path, if there is no link I would still like to see the identifying name. Inserting bidirectional subform without display type
I'm trying to create an app with a bidirectional subform that doesn't display the linked field below the subform. I have two forms. Main form is "Clients" and subform is "Appointments". I want to be able to enter appointments in on the clients form and have it be a bidirectional link, but when I do it adds another dropdown field below the Appointments subform. There is an Application called Employee Management that I'm trying to mimic, but I don't know how to accomplish it.
Strange repeated and displaced sections of screen
Sometimes I get displaced sections of reports. I am using Google Chrome running on Windows 8 and a very fast Internet connection. I have seen it many times on my new and old PC. Any ideas?
unable to edit any application settigs
I am unable to edit any of the general settings for my creator applications, The error message tells me to contact support. Well, support has been completely unresponsive. This has been going on for about 1 week. Access to my Creator account has been enabled for several days now and that is making me uncomfortable as well. I simply cannot move forward at this point. Filters not working
I sent a support ticket but no one answers so I was hoping someone could help me. My views keep losing the data and I have to delete the filters and create a new view every time to get the data to show. Any suggestions on what I can do to stop this. It seems there is a problem with the filters.

Hi Zoho Support, What is ETA for defect fix or help? I have been trying since 24 hours to contact Zoho Support, as well as sent mail with my requirements. I am not able to reach through Phone and nobody is there who can respond mail promptly. We are paid customer and one issue/query holds entire application development process. Quick question, just updated subscription from pro to enterprise due to additional users. What is the Manage Contacts section in Account Setup for? Unlike Manage Users and Manage Groups their doesn't seem to be any way to add data to it.

Hi all Newbie to zoho creator, not to databases. have created a database for personal use. i use the view in order to query the data and it works fine. i want to prevent myself from accidentally editing the data as it will never change. can i make the database read only or inhibit add up delete on the view?
