• Public document, problem ?

  I did upload some documents (word, excel) and I have a problem. When I click on the Excel document (xsl) it opens in a new window and have the above menu publish / make public where you get a link which can send to anyone thatis looking at this document or to perform some modifications on it However, when I open a Word document (doc), it is also open in a new window, but there does not publish the menu. Can you explain to me what the problem is

  Hi, trying to save a document in Zoho Docs I get error code 2501 which says "internal server error". Can you help me solving the problem? What does error code 2201 stand for? Thanks in advance Sven

• Problem Opening PDF

  I'm trying to open several different PDFs in a workspace.  And even though the PDFs are small all I get is the spinning wheel and a 'loading' message.  I can recreate this on several files. 

• How do i EDIT file? Why there are so MANY view/edit modes for files without any clarifications?

  Dear Zoho Docs Team, I'm frustrated. I've just got another problem/misunderstanding Zoho Docs. Some points: 1. If i create a file (spreadsheet) in Zoho Docs, i can edit it in the "full"-edit mode, so i'm able to import data, export and do other useful things.   I just click on the filename in the documents list and immediately open it in edit mode. 2. If i upload an ODS/XLS-file and then click on the filename, i'll get into the RESTRICTED edit mode. I can't do many things, but still able to edit

• Invalid email address

  Can anyone suggest a reason that an error should occur when trying to add a group member with their email address, xxxxxx@lancswt.org.uk? When I try to do it as 'owner' I get the message email address invalid.

• Can't upload PDF

  I am currently trying out the free version before getting the paid package.  I am unable to upload pdf files, it tells me it takes too long??

• If a page is in portrait mode with letter paper, why is the margin at 10.5 inches wide?

  As you can see in this video - http://screencast.com/t/7s2H8plbtOq the margin is at 10.5 inches wide but for a portrait letter page, that margin should be no further out than 8.5 inches.

• Is there a way to collaborate on a Zoho Docs spreadsheet using only a URL?

  One of the functions I use most in Google Docs is the ability to collaborate on a spreadsheet by emailing a URL through my own email system (currently Vertical Response). Anyone with the URL can edit the document with or without a Google account and I don't have to email the link through Google Docs.   This is incredibly convenient for me, since people subscribe and unsubscribe from my master list at will.  This function also allows me to include the URL in an HTML email with a specific design instead

• Zoho Spreadsheets Crashing

  We are using Internet Explorer Version 8 on both a lap top and a desktop computer. These were the two that crashed when we  tried to make changes to the Zoho Spreadsheet. We updated the browser a few weeks ago thinking this might be the issue. But it is still crashing. What do we do to prevent this from happening?  Thank you! Jeremy

• How to add a "note" to the properties of a file?

  Hi, I have recently started working with Zoho docs. When I upload a document, in the Revisions list of the document properties there is a column with the title of "notes". • Questions about workspaces and groups, what's the difference?

  Hello, I'm confused about the whole Workspaces and Groups thing and I need some clarification please.  How are the two related and what is the difference between them?  When would I use one or the other, can you give me some examples? Also, when it says "you can edit in real time", what exactly does that mean?  To me, real time means I can invite 4 users to a file (using a Group or Workspace, I don't know), start up a chat window, and then sit and discuss the file while we can all look at it and

  Hi there, I just wanted to report a problem: the files that users in an organization group have shared to each other, once deleted, still remain in the list of shared documents. Why is that so? • Problem with plugin installation - Error '429'

  Tried to install the Zoho Microsoft Plugin onto Word 2007 on my Tablet PC running Windows 7 64 bit. At the end of the installation when loading Word an error window popped up headed Microsoft Visual Basic with the text:  Run-time error '429';  ActiveX component can't create object.      –  What do I have to do to fix that?

• Exporting a zoho sheet to xls format

  I'm getting a problem when trying to export a sheet to xls format, i'm no longer getting the pop-up box telling me where to save the document to, which means it doesn't export at all, i've tried in explorer and firefox and i don't have any pop up blockers on in firefox or explorer - also my firewall is turned off. • Embedding Zoho doc changes format of website

  When I try to embed a Zoho document using the <script src=""></script> code, the formatting on the rest of my website goes screwy- fonts and spacings change, eg. Removing the script snippet of code results in the website looking as it should. My document contains only one test link. I've never had this problem using the <iframe src=""></iframe> code from Google, but Google Docs no longer allows you to edit HTML, so I jumped shipped to Zoho. Any help really appreciated!

• Migration of files and folders from DropBox

  Hi guys, I have had a few clients who have been using DropBox to store all their files.  They have gigabytes stored there.  Have you considered a migration tool to bring those files and folders from DropBox to Zoho Docs?   An alternative could be to integrate with DropBox like you have done with Google Docs although this would mean clients would be split to between two providers. • Individuals Having Trouble Viewing Spreadsheet

  Hi, I have a spreadsheet with multiple sheets that have sensitive information on them and I want to share specific pages with specific individuals.  However, when I enter their email address and send them the invite with "Read Only" permission on the specific page, they cannot view it when they open it via the link in the email.  It seems that the only way they can view the page is if the whole spreadsheet was shared to them-which is not a desired option/solution.
