Update Available Inventory When Order is Packed
It would be extremely helpful to have the option of updating available inventory when a Sales Order has been packed. It is very common to have an order that is neither invoiced nor shipped while the items on the order are, however, no longer in inventory because they have been packed and staged for shipping Thanks for the consideration.
Having problems adding new items or editing current ones
There seems to be a problem with adding new items or editing current items in my inventory. Every time I go to add a new item it just spins and never completes. About every 3rd or 4th attempt to add the same item will be successful. Same with editing existing items. This just started happening in the last hour or so. What is going on? -Tom PS: This is very frustrating. It started working fine for about 15 minutes and now is back to failing nearly every time. Zoho, please fix the problem!
Purchase price of the composited items can't be updated after saved the first time
Even if there was no sales order yet, the purchase price of composite items can't be updated after saved the first time (11605.65) as it showed in the system (11,685.26).
Add "Paid" Column to Sales Orders Table
To help quickly view the status of all orders, please consider adding a "Paid" column to the Sales Order table. Each order essentially has two paths of completion: fulfillment and payment. As it is now we have columns (Packed and Shipped) to represent the related statuses for Fulfillment, but only one column (Invoice) to represent the related statuses for Payment. Zoho Inventory - LTL - Barcode Scanning
Up until now, our inventory was handled by a 3rd party in a warehouse where we rented space. We are now bringing this process in-house, leasing our own warehouse, and fulfilling all of our own orders. We would like to use Zoho Inventory. However, there is a lack of FedEx LTL available for it's shipping integration. Can you offer any suggestions to this? Also, the below link is the only resource I can see as it relates to barcode scanning etc. Do you have any other resources that would be helpful
Add "Partially Packed" and "Fully Packed" to packing slip statuses
To make help clarify the status of a packing slip, can you please add "Partially Packed" and "Fully Packed" to the statuses? These are much more helpful statuses than simply "Not Shipped" and "Shipped". I believe the available statuses for a packing slip would then be: Partially Packed Fully Packed Shipped Thank you for the consideration! Chris p.s. Sorry for the duplicate post. Inventory item values question
What happens if we buy an inventory item for a certain price; eg £10, then later on the cost price goes up and we buy another one for say £12. The quantity will say 2, but what will be the value of the 2 items? When we do year end stock checking, I'm guessing it will say 2@ £12 = £24, but we will only have paid £22. Thanks

If I order an item from a vendor using a Purchase Order, when that item arrives, can I add it to our 'tracked' inventory from the PO as a 'Tracked item' ?
Issue in Status of SO in zoho inventory
I am creating a sales order in zoho books using custom function when a sales order is created, it reflects on zoho inventory with a creation of new sales order in it with status as "fulfilled". But actually I did not specify the status as "fulfilled" in my script at the time of SO creation. As my logic, SO need to be created with invoice commenced rather than package or shipped(package and shipped should be uncommenced).
Packing Material
Hi, We sell mobile accessories like to distributors, retailer etc. We obviously buy packing material like boxes etc for these phone covers. But we don't sell these separately. We need to make purchase orders for these boxes - which means we will have to make them as items. However, since we sell phone covers and not these boxes, we are not able to track them. bug in PO creation while in Inventory
When I create a PO while in Inventory Module, the PO is created but it doesn't show up in the list of POs. I have to go to Zoho Books and view the PO there before going back to Inventory and then it shows up. Is this a bug? -Tom
Integration with UPS
Hi All, I'm in the trial version of Inventory, by far the best inventory management software ever developed for SMBs (and i've tried a lot of other apps!). I just have a question: i've integrated my UPS account but can't figure out how can I switch to the metric units from inches, since in Europe we arent familiar with it, and getting UPS rates in Euros instead of US Dollars. Selling part of an item
Hi We are a carpet retailer and I am preparing to upload all my stock items into Inventory. We have lots of individual carpet pieces that we normally sell as they are as one piece. I am planning to upload them so each is a unit that a customer buys '1 of' (eg, 4m x 6m = £200, so 1x unit @ £200). However, there are times when we may offer to cut a carpet down for a customer. So for example we may cut the above in half meaning they will buy 0.5 of the unit for £100. I can then sell the remainder,

Hi All I'm trying to see how to best use this system for our business needs. Our client's prepay for their product and once we receive payment we begin working on their request. At that point we request the product from our agency but not as a drop ship and there is a custom form our agency needs to receive, not the system purchase order. we do not maintain inventory, this is more of a 'print on demand' situation. how can i utilize your system for this?
Composite items must be able to include non inventory items and services
Not all items that make up a composite item are inventory items. So we are back to square one. We can build half an item with no services included which is not an item we sell. Which manufacturers are producing products with no work associated with that assembly? How are people using the composite item feature without this?
