Comments bug
I've been experiencing a little glitch lately and it would really help if it was fixed. When I use the comments feature in Zoho Writer (Insert -> Add Comment), every time the document is autosaved my cursor shifts to the main document and leaves the comment. This is very inconvenient because I will be in the middle of a thought but from that point on everything I type will go into the wrong place. When I catch the error, I have to retype everything and it wastes time and breaks my train of thought.

I can't figure out how to tag my documents into different folders; I tried to read the FAQs and still can't make sense out of it; are there any good detailed instructions about how to do this? thanks Tom
bug repport french language : accentuadted caracters in impo
when importing text files edited with notepad on a PC, accentuated french caracters such as : é, à etc. are transfromed into ? instead of remaining as they are. I don't know if it does the same with .doc word documents I haven't tried yet thibaultm
Table insert
Recently there have been some problems inserting tables for me. Two things are happening. 1. After making the table, I insert some text and blank lines are added, increasing the size of the cell. I don't want that, and have explored various ways to bypass it but as of yet have not found a way. This behavior did not happen before. I am using Firefox browser, 3.6.3. 2. After making a table, I would like sometimes to add a column. When I go to add the column, the screen darkens. This is not unusual,
Formatting Lost
G'day- Love your work! You guys (and gals) truly rock. However, the attached document, when uploaded and then downloaded again strips all format. Grrrr. To recreate: 1. Upload to a zoho account. 2. New to Zoho Writer - Not getting very far
I downloaded a one-page document for two classmates to add their own comments to it. When logged in, I can see that another user is "viewing" the document based on the little cue that appears in the lower right. But, am I supposed to be able to see my classmate's additions as they are entered? Does she have to resend the document once she's done? So far, neither of us has been able to see an updated version containing the other person's comments. Like, why is this happening? Is it as simple as

Hi, I had this documents that am working on with friends and just a mint ago it was replaced with the "Welcome to Zoho Writer" document !!! it has the same name as my document but what's inside is diffrent!! the document name is "all_6_April" Please advise as it's an assignmnt and the due date is very close. How do I Divide it to Pages?
I need to convert it to PDF file so I need that the size of every page on my zoho writer document will be the same like the PDF file. How do I do it? I only have 1 page.
Search within Zoho Writer
Search is not working well at all in Writer. For example, I have 2 files with the name Pedro in the file. A simple search of 'ped" does not find both files. This is a critical issue and needs to be fixed asap or we have to get off of Zoho in a matter of days.
EQUATION EDITOR HELP!!!

Double-spacing and the html code pair: <div> </div>
When I copy text from one Writer document into another, the pasted text ends up being enclosed between <div> and </div> in the html code. I think this causes my document to double space every line I add after that, which I don't wish to do. My question: How do I control a document's spacing when I want to? Deleted documents
Right now, I just got my document in Zoho Writer deleted... One document got blanked out, another document had its content substituted for a third document and the original document lost - what the hell happened?? All I did was open and close some documents in Zoho Writer. Can it really be true that my work is lost, just like that, and for no apparent reason? I can't find my document at all. Please tell me that your online docs suite is better than this, and that my document(s) can be recovered...
Bold in Zoho Writer
Why is it so difficult to unbold something in Zoho writer. I'm keeping a log with dates bolded and the entries in normal text. I can't enter an entry in normal font without copying an earlier entry and then modifying it. Otherwise, even clicking on the bolding B or hitting ctrl b makes no difference and goes unnoticed by the program.
spell check
I sure wish it was possible to turn off the zoho spell checker. It is much easier to just use the spell check that comes with the internet browser. Now when I right click on a misspelled word, a zoho specific window pops up which doesn't let me fix the spelling. Big pain! Love zoho tho. Don't get me wrong.

User-define autocorrect/ autoreplace please!
I am a engineering student and I always have a hard time typing out symbols such as x-bar, V-dot, H-hat, H2(subscript)O, T1(subscript),T2....\pi \alpha \rho.... The solution I come out will is pretty simple. I modified the auto correct list to include _1 --> (subscript)1 _2 --> (subscript)2 ... for all number and a to Z same goes for ^2-->(supersubscript)2 and all the Latex symbol \pi \rho \pm \times .... This way I can replace as I type without having to remember to "find and replace" all the symbols
Export of a Document with Images doesn't contain images
When I export a Writer Document to Microsoft Word, and if the original document contains images, the destination Microsoft Word document does not contain images.

How do i add a second page, to an existing page.... i have been unable to find one... I.E in the original WORDS you can do ctrl+enter ( or was it shift+enter) to make a second page at the bottom of your 1st page...

As I type, sentence shifts to next line mid sentence
As I complete typing a word in a sentence I hit the space bar and start the next word. When I type the first letter, the cursor automatically shifts to the next line and continues the sentence there. This is new and I haven't changed any settings that I know of other than change paragraph options to "opt" and this was happening before I did that. Any thoughts? Many thanks. Bill Sterling
Format Differences in ODT and DOC Exports
Greetings Zoho Engineers! I've noticed differences in a Zoho Writer document exported in .odt and .doc formats as rendered in OpenOffice 3.2. From a single-spaced document with a framed image exported as odt and a doc; In DOC EXPORT, you lose frame around image but otherwise normal format. In ODT EXPORT, you keep frame around image but single-spaced separation between paragraphs and also empty double spaced line turns triple-spaced. * * * Ironically the reverse occurs with imported OOo docs in odt
Loss of document content - it got not saved?
Hi! We are five people writing in a document. But the content don't seem to get properly saved. The issue get revealed when someone exit the document and later loads it again. During typing the "saving..." sign flashes time to time. We have clicked the saving button. When we later look in history trying to recover lost content the versions seem to be all equal with just minor variations. The document is less than ten pages pure text. No images, tables. We are using FF 3.0 and IE 7.0 om Win XP Pro.
Return Key always double spaces
When I single space a document, the single spacing works fine. If I complete a sentence mid page, and hit return, it always double spaces. I want to prepare a document with single spaces so when I export to my blog, there are no spacing problems. I am unable to place the cursor a single space below the last sentence. If I use the space bar to go to the end of the line, then it autmatically single spaces to next line below. It would be simpler to hit return and go to the next line as a single

I would love to be able to change the line spacing on just a few lines in a document rather than only being able to adjust line-spacing for the whole thing. Think Resumes, for example, where it makes sense to space sections close together but add an additional .5 space between sections.
