Thai Fonts is missing when export as PDF
Zoho Writer works fine with Thai script (since the browser renders the text) but when export document as PDF. It has no Thai script in PDF generating engine. Google Docs has this feature. See the pictures for difference: GDocs, Zoho

Editing PowerPoint with Show using the API

predefined document template
Hi, i am using zoho writer and must to say that you make a good job and when you add the margin option, i was happy that i can create margin to my document but when i use it more and more i was thinking in my mind that if we have had a predefined document template for A4, letter and etc. like in ms word it's save us time.

It will be a good idea to incorporate track change type of feature so that it should be possible for me to know what changes have been made for those who share my document. Problem with images in API
We are using the Zoho Writer API on our site. When a user clicks "Save" in Zoho Writer, his document is saved as an ODT binary in our database. When the user clicks on a link in our site indicating that he wants to edit his doucument further, that ODT binary code is saved as an ODT file, which is then imported into Zoho Writer. We have been having some trouble with images. When a document with an image is saved the first time (having been either inputted directly in Zoho Writer or imported from Microsoft
locally run app
It would nice to be able to install something like this on a central shared computer (server), without starting a daemon, that would be a simple install. (and a simple database!) ie just click 5 times and installed! or is there something already out there? this would more easily address issue of : local ie faster, not relying on the internet, security, maybe do own customization. just ideas. any thoughts?

This product has great promise - but we are frustrated. One group member creates a document and shares it with others, but the others cannot make the edits and then share it again. What are we doing wrong? is there someplace to allow others to share? The document is unlocked and has been shared with read/write permissions. laraine

hello, I think that I've checked all of the posts on the writer forum and so thought that I understood how the e-mail in and out feature worked I tired both options E-mail In document sent never arrived or at least is not listed in my documents (and yes I refreshed the lists and yes I checked that I was seeing all of the documents) E-mail out although it gave me the message saying the document has been sent nothing arrived. Support EPS Image format in Zoho writer
Hi I am writing draft for paper collaboration, and Zoho writer has done great. It will be better if Zoho writer support EPS format since this is the one mostly used in academic publication. Folders in Zoho Writer
Team, Have been using Zoho writer for over two months and loving it. Also use Zoho project - I find that Project allows the user/me to create folders to put our files in, whereas ZohoWriter does not provide this facility. It would be nice if we could do this. ksrikrsn
list of tags does not appear
According to another posting in the Writer forum, I should be able to left-click on the tag text box and get a list of the tags I've assigned in my docs. When I left-click in the tag text box nothing happens. Browser is IE6.

Remote Writer API. No page break icon.
We have set up our website to use Zoho Writer for editing documents. The Writer page does not have the Page Break menu icon when invoked remotely. If you look at this link http://writer.zoho.com/public/help/writer.remoteapi/fullpage the page image shown does not have the page break icon! Is this a limitation in remote api?
Browser spell checking
I know this has been mentioned before, but Zoho writer somehow shields my work from my browser's spellcheck-as-you-type feature. I've seen in replies to other questions that spellcheck-as-you-type feature is being developed within Zoho itself, but this is just going to mean that I have to maintain 2 separate dictionaries (one for my browser, and one for Zoho). Any chance Zoho might let me choose the dictionary I want to use in future? osian78

In Chinese Version LaTeX Syntax display as LaTeX Syntax（字面解释为：乳胶语法。这个拿不准） It means the translator doesn't know what "LaTeX Syntax" means? It can be translated as LaTeX 语法
CPU Usage

zoho meeting firefox - uninstall
everytime i launch a new window for firefox(1.5), another zoho meeting icon next the address bar appears. How do i uninstall it. I deleted the zoho folder in program files. "Unable to Import Document"
When I try to import a Word .doc file, it creates a blank file and there's a brief pop-up that reads "Unable to Import Document." I've tried importing via URL and email and neither work. (Email shows no error, but it just doesn't do anything) I can, however, view (but not save into 'Writer) the file using the Zoho Writer Firefox add-on. (using the same URL that fails on an import!)
Word Count
is there a word count function in Zoho writer because i can't seem to find it!
I can't delete these file!
I create some documents in Zoho Writer. Then, I copy these docs from My Docs to a new folder(I create it, and it's name is Provider). Then, I delete original docs at My Docs Folder. OK, what do I get? In Provider Folder, all copied docs is unaccessable, althought they are listed in Provider folder. Nor can I delete these docs.
Can't get rid of italics
Any text that I enter automatically is done in italics even though the italics icon is not activated. When I highlight the text, toggling back and forth on the italics icon does not change it. How do I enter just plain non-italic text?

Zoho Writer Problems
I have perservered with Zoho, but I just can't get it to work. Data gets lost, you can't cut and paste. It sometimes takes ages to save. Formatting gets lost. I don't know what the problem is, maybe it is a victim of its own popularity. I'm surprised anyone uses it. dialnine
