Conversion Rules
Hi, We are looking for a solution where a Lead can be created with minimal amount of required information (First Name & Last Name) but before the Lead can be converted to a Contact, the Lead's Email & Phone Number fields have to be filled. We can set "Required Fields" in Contacts which only applies when a new Contact is created but these rules DO NOT apply when a Lead is converted.

We email listings to segmented lists (i.e. law firms, 1 to 10 employees, 10017 zip code) of potential customers. We have about 11,000 contacts in lists of various target industries. We have been using the Campaign module of Zoho which is designed for email promotions. Zoho requires that this module be used when more than 500 emails are sent. Issue with CRM Mobile App when wanting to change task owner
Hi, On the Zoho CRM mobile app (I use iPhone), when I try to assign or change the owner of a task, it only shows me (admin user) and one other user. The other 2 users are not shown as an option on the mobile app, but are shown on the desktop CRM. Anyone have an idea as to what is going wrong?
Android, location (GeoTag) problem
We are trying to connect “contacts” to an exact geo address/location. But the Thing is that when we copy the “plus code” addresses from Google Maps into the street address in the CRM, and then search for the contact location, it doesn’t locate it. This happens because it doesn’t recognize it, and we believe this is happening because the Zoho CRM app (in Android) changes the format. For example; it will change it from “7HQQ8FXF+CV” to “7HQQ8FXF CV,” and this is not recognized when searched by Google;

Hello, our organisation would like to use Zoho CRM and PM features combined. Our staff is generally not IT savvy and I wanted to know, whether anyone has integrated Zoho CRM successfully and how it is running? Can I used Office 365 Desktop (Outlook) normally and CRM does it's thing or does is take a lot of administrative effort? What CRM functions are fully supported? Convert lead loses email history
Hi, After converting a lead to account/contact, I lost all the email histories related to that lead. Is this intentional or am I missing something here?

HTML Emails out of Person's record
Hi there, since I started using Zoho CRM I was able to send HTML Emails out of people's records. I copied my HTML code in the email window, even if the code was long (more than 100.000 characters), pressed Sent and all was fine. I've sent hundreds of emails like this...up until recently. What is the behaviour of CRM API: insertRecord method with duplicateCheck=2
Using the CRM API, I can add a record with method "insertRecord" passing a parameter "duplicateCheck=2" and ZOHO will either insert the record (if one with the same email address doesn't already exist), or update a record (if one with the same email address is found). Questions in case a record is found and will be updated: 1 - Does ZOHO keep track/record/history of previous values for those fields updated? 2 - Does ZOHO flag anywhere in the system that the record has been updated through the API?

Using ToNumber in Formula Field
Trying to use Operators with a string converted to number using 'ToNumber' returns an empty string in the lead layout. ToNumber returns the number correctly but does not support any numeric operators. Is the understanding correct. ?
Send invoice on save?
Hello! We are using Zoho CRM with Zoho Invoice and creating invoices within Zoho CRM. When we do this, the process is: click new invoice and fill everything in save the invoice (which makes it into a Draft) click the invoice number click email to send it Is there any way to send it as soon as we save it? In other words, can we skip the draft process? This would make the process much simpler: click new invoice and fill everything in save the invoice, which emails it immediately Thanks for your help!

Hi, I've noticed a serious flaw with how Zoho works currently. I've added companies I want to work with in the Account module but don't have any 'contacts' within that company (account) as I don't know anyone there yet. Can someone please help me i am losing my mind i have tried hundreds of times to use the zapia UI to connect my web forms to my zoho crm account. it seems to get as far as building the account but no lead gets transferred.. mattter of fact it seems to skip the step where i am supposed to match the fields in the zoho crm to the fields coming in on the web.. I have been able to make the webform method work however i cant use that due to other problems..I tried the API but that did not work for me

I need to add a new button on teh lead pag to print a pdf report by including some of the information at the record level for that lead. I know how to add a button to a module, but I am not sure whether this can be achieved using a url (maybe Zoho Forms) or a custom function. How do I use a custom function (CRM) to automatically copy custom data from Account to Sales Order?
I'm trying to copy data from custom fields in an Account to a new Sales Order when a new Order is initiated (before Saved or Created). I've tried using a custom function but it appears that it will only run when the order is Saved (Created) or Edited. Zoho is obviously able to do this with fields that are fixed. Is there a way to do it with custom fields? Thanks in advance.

Syncing contacts from CRM to Campaigns - empty fields don't sync
We sync Contacts from Zoho CRM to a list in Zoho Campaigns, and then segment that list to send various targeted emails. Those segments are defined with filters based on fields coming from the CRM contacts. When a field is blank in Zoho CRM, the mapped field is not getting updated in the Campaigns record. I've tried to import an activities csv file several times today. The file will upload and all field mapping works except the account will not match up to the related to field. Hi, The company I work for is traying to decide if we are going to get Zoho. To do so, we need to know how the integration between those 2 systems work regarding USERS PERMITS. Importing contacts and associating with accounts
Hi I have imported my customer accounts into "Accounts" successfully. However, when I import the contacts, I am unable to associate them with the respective Account. I have tried matching the same Account Name into the Contact Import's "Account Name" - and it doesn't associate. I've tried to match the Account ID to the Contact Import's "Account Name" and it doesn't work either. There's no "Account ID" field for me to associate the Contact with... Am I missing out something here? WH

Send field from creator to crm lookup field
Hi, I am sending an account name from a creator form called Contacts. The Account Name is the name of the company the new contact works for. I am able to send all the data and create a new contact; however, the company name does not show up. The field in CRM for the Account Name is a CRM lookup field. I have the code written so that when the new contact is created, the new company is also created. In my CRM both the new contact and company exist, but the Account Name on the contact is not updating

Sign Up Form - Data Destination
I set up a new email sign up form in Campaigns and signed up a test contact. However, I am not finding that contact in my list in Campaigns, and it does not appear to be in Zoho CRM yet. Hi..I just created a basic workflow rule for every new lead in the CRM fetched from our website's contact us page. The contacts are getting fetched all right but the workflow is not getting triggered for them! Any idea why this is happening?
CRM Accounts there is no information about Customer sync?
I have a issue where i want use the same customer in Zoho Subscription after create in CRM. Sync mode is on and at the moment when a account is created I have a new customer in books (the same id in subscription). If i retrieve customer in books i’m able to see the link and ids but my workflow start in CRM where i want to get information across books or subscription but there is no ID related in CRM. There is way to get or use the same customer and prevent duplication if the first read is in CRM.
