(1) Open a new document in zoho writer, and save it.
(2) Insert an "\alpha" using the equation editor, then save again.
(3) Switch to View->HTML Code view. See what you have got in your document?
-------------------------------------
<img id="***" src="***" latexexpression=" \\alpha" imagesize="120" zid="1" />
-------------------------------------
The slash in the latex expression "\alpha" has been automatically replaced by a double slash "\\".
(4) Use the equation editor to insert another "\beta". No only you get a double-slashed " \\beta", but also the previous " \\alpha" becomes " \\\\alpha" this time!
(5) Everytime you insert a equation, zoho writer will replace the slash in the latex expression of all the equations by double slash. So if you insert 10 equations in your document, you will have 1024 slashes in the first equation! Thus the size of the document grows exponentially until zoho can no longer save it.
