In today's segment of our "Accounting On-the-Go" series, we're unveiling a time-saving feature in the Zoho Books mobile app - adding unbilled expenses and projects directly to your invoices.
Imagine this scenario: You've incurred billable expenses and logged time on projects for a customer. Instead of manually remembering each detail, Zoho Books makes it effortless for you to include these unbilled expenses and projects while creating an invoice for that customer. Let's dive into how this feature works:
How it works in Zoho Books iOS app:
➤ Open the Zoho Books iOS app.
➤ Navigate to "Invoices."
➤ Click on the “+” button to add a new Invoice
➤ Select the customer for whom you're creating an invoice.
➤ While adding line items to your invoice, you'll notice a section for unbilled expenses and projects.
➤ Click on the unbilled Expenses and Projects to add the required line items.
➤ Select the items you want to add to the invoice.
➤ Review the invoice, make any necessary adjustments, and save it.
How it works in Zoho Books Android app:
➤ Open the Zoho Books Android app.
➤ Navigate to the left side panel and go to Sales >> Invoices.
➤ Create a new Invoice and choose the customer for whom you're creating an invoice.
➤ While adding line items, you’ll find a section for unbilled expenses and projects.
➤ Click on the unbilled Expenses and Projects to add the required line items.
➤ Select the items you wish to include in the invoice.
➤ Review the invoice details, make adjustments as needed, and save your changes.
