Hello Zoho Books Users,
Remember the ease of applying credits to invoices we discussed earlier? Well, now you can enjoy that same simplicity when dealing with your vendor transactions. In today's edition of our "Accounting On-the-Go" series, we're introducing the convenient process of applying vendor credits to bills using the Zoho Books mobile app.
How it works in Zoho Books iOS app:
➤ Open the Zoho Books iOS app.
➤ Navigate to "More" and select "Bills."
➤ Select the Bill for which you want to apply credits.
➤ Click on “More” and choose “Apply Credits.”
➤ In the upcoming page, you'll find all available credits for the Vendor.
➤ For each credit, you can opt to “Pay in Full” or enter the desired amount in the "Amount to Credit" field.
➤ Double-check the invoice due at the bottom and save the transaction.
➤ The payments will be automatically recorded, updating the Bill status to Partially Paid or Paid, and adjusting the balance due.
➤ Corresponding credits will be marked as closed if fully applied.
How it works in Zoho Books Android app:
➤ Open the Zoho Books Android app.
➤ Navigate to the left side panel and go to " Purchases>>Bills"
➤ Select the Bill for which you want to apply credits.
➤ Click on “three-dot icon and choose “Apply Credits.”
➤ In the upcoming page, you'll find all available credits for the Vendor.
➤ For each credit, enter the desired amount in the "Amount to Credit" field.
➤ Double-check the invoice due at the bottom and save the transaction.
➤ The payments will be automatically recorded, updating the Bill status to Partially Paid or Paid, and adjusting the balance due.
➤ Corresponding credits will be marked as closed if fully applied.
