Add Hyperlink Functionality in Zoho Desk Email Template Editor

Dear Zoho Team,

We would like to propose an enhancement to the Zoho Desk email template editor to allow the inclusion of hyperlinks directly within the email templates used for ticket replies.

Current Situation:

  • Currently, when creating an email template for replies in Zoho Desk, there is no option to add hyperlinks directly in the template editor.
  • Agents can manually add hyperlinks when responding to tickets or creating knowledge base articles, but this functionality is not available in the template editor.
  • A workaround exists where we can create the text with hyperlinks in a ticket and then copy and paste it into the email template editor; however, this is not efficient and disrupts workflow.

Proposed Enhancement:

  • Enable Hyperlink Creation: Introduce functionality in the email template editor that allows users to create hyperlinks directly, improving the user experience and efficiency of template creation.

Benefits:

  1. Enhanced Usability: This feature would streamline the process of creating informative email templates by allowing users to include clickable links directly.
  2. Improved Workflow: Users will save time and effort by not having to rely on a workaround to create hyperlinks.
  3. Better Communication: Templates can become more informative and user-friendly with direct access to links.
