I am writing to submit a feature request for a Unified Development & Release GitHub Dashboard that provides centralized GitHub visibility at both the Project and Milestone levels.
The Vision:
We need a single "Command Center" that aggregates all development activity across the lifecycle. Currently, development data is siloed within individual items, making it impossible for a Manager to get a macro-view of the project’s or milestone's health and release readiness.
Requested Enhancement – The Unified Dashboard:
We request a dedicated view (at the Project and Milestone levels) that aggregates:
Pull Request Status: A filterable list of all active/merged PRs across the entire project.
Deployment Tracking: A visual timeline of code deployments to various environments (Production, Staging).
Repository Activity: A high-level status of all connected GitHub repositories.
Consolidated Work Items: A unified view of development activity linked to both Issues and Tasks.
The "Task Integration" Dependency:
To make this dashboard truly effective, it must pull data from both the Issues and Tasks modules. As noted in
this feature request, the current integration is limited to the Issues module. For a dashboard to provide 100% project visibility,
extending the GitHub commit integration to the Tasks module is a prerequisite.
Why This Matters:
As we manage our migration from Jira, this "active" dashboard is a critical missing piece. In Jira, the 'Development' view is the heartbeat of the project. By implementing this unified dashboard and ensuring it captures data from both Tasks and Issues, Zoho Projects becomes a much stronger and more viable migration path for modern engineering teams.
We believe this evolution will significantly enhance the value of Zoho Projects for all development-heavy organizations.
