I am looking for a way to create an event or alert that can be assigned based on the owner of the account being updated.

Example:   Status = Step 1        (want the account owner to get new event/alert to follow up)

                 Status = Step 2        (want the account owner to get new event/alert to send catalog)

I have only been able to assign a single user or an entire role.  In my case the data is user sensitive to the account owner.

Anyone have any suggestions?
