All new enhancements you can try from Zoho Vault's new interface

Zoho Vault's new interface has been available for all users since the beginning of May, and it's packed with multiple new enhancements and a refreshing design. A lot of you have helped by extensively trying out the beta interface, and we've been keeping a close eye on all your feedback. As promised in our last webinar, we have added a bunch of folder enhancements based on popular request. These new enhancements will help you:
  • Drag and drop passwords to folders
  • Filter passwords within a folder
  • Allow users to create a subfolder under your folder
Drag and drop passwords to folders

Adding passwords to folders is now an easy task. You can select different passwords you own from the All Passwords tab and drag them into a folder of your choice. This easily creates a copy of all the selected passwords in your folder.

Note: Only a copy of the passwords will be added to the folder. You can still view all your passwords from the All Passwords tab.

Filter passwords within a folder

Managing your folders is now a lot easier with our new filter options. You can efficiently filter and access the passwords you're looking for within your folder, using one of these 11 options:
  • Most Used
  • Recently Used
  • Recently Added
  • Password Category
  • Owned by Me
  • Shared by Me
  • Shared With Me
  • Personal Passwords
  • Enterprise Passwords
  • All Shared Passwords
  • Unshared Passwords
Allow users to create a subfolder under your folder

Until now, users have lacked the ability to create a subfolder under a folder shared with them. This has been addressed in our new interface to help users create as many subfolders as they wish whenever you share a folder with the Modify or Manage privilege.

Note: By default, the newly created subfolders will not be accessible for the parent folder owner. To allow all parent folder owners to access the subfolders, you can either:
  • Allow the parent folder owner to access your subfolder while creating them, or
  • Give default access to all parent folder owners by requesting your admin to disable Parent folder owner as default owner of subfolders in the Disable section under Fine-Grained Controls

    • The subfolders can be shared with the same privilege of the parent folder
Try out these new features and share your feedback with us. Follow this thread to get notified whenever new features are rolled out in the beta version of our new interface! It's also important to note that all new features hereon would only be available in our new interface. If you ever run into any issues with the new features or our new interface, please don't hesitate to contact us
