Android Mobile App Offline Defect
I submitted feedback on this as well, but want to post this here. We are Zoho Partner testing Zoho Docs for a client's use case. I'm testing Zoho Docs Mobile Apps on the following Android devices (functionality works perfectly on iOS):
Device 1:
Samsung Galaxy S9
Android 9.0
Kernel Version 4.9.112
One UI Version 1.0
Device 2:
Samsung Galaxy S8
Android 8.0
Kernel Version 4.4.78-15104926
Samsung Experience Version 9.0
Here is what is happening:
- Files were loaded in the WEB/DESKTOP experience
- Files were synced to the mobile app
- We manually set files to "offline"
- We set phone to "airplane mode" and tried manually turning off data
- EVERYTIME, we get the following error: "Error in opening file. Check for network or free some space in your memory
- We can try this on older versions of Android if we can find one
App settings:
- Offline Storage: 250MB
- Cache Storage: Unlimited
Anyone else seeing this? Works just fine on the latest iOS on an iPhone 6sPlus
