My challenge is getting an image of a signature in a contract which is build up using variables. The signature is variable as well, based on the issuer of the contract. The signature are stored on external website, but I also added an image upload function on the form for registering the issuers. I automated the retrieval of the internal link of the uploaded signature and that works fine now.

The generated contract is being emailed as PDF to the receiver using a button in the report view via a record template. All works like a charm, except the image. The PDF shows no image (except for the logo I placed in the header of the record templart) but only the generated IMG tag.

As it is all HTML I tried all variations of IMG tags and with internal and external links. Nothing works, the image won't be rendered. What am I missing? Or is not even possible to have a image rendered in a PDF using record templates?
